A lively community. There's nothing worse than trying to interact with a dead/dying community
If you run a community, what would be the most important for you?

Couple of ways to do this.
1. Make members feel that the community is so personalized to their own needs that they can't imagine using another one
2. Let members give feedback and build the community WITH you instead if you building it for them.
3. Points or some way to see progress. You could also have users exchange points for valuables like lead magnets, discounts, etc
Hope this helps...

When do you consider an idea validated?
So I'm building a gamified community building platform for indie hackers and solo founders, and it's getting some positive attention with 0 marketing. (https://hackerhuddle.com)
When can I officially say this is validated? A certain number of people on a waitlist? A certain number of pre-sales? What do you all think?

A little late but Hacker huddle is being built for solo founders and indie hackers to launch and manage their communities in a gamified fashion
What platform do you use to manage your community?

Happy to support!
I'm building hackerhuddle.com - a community building platform indie hackers and solo founders. Simply collecting feedback and a waitlist before launching on PH in a couple months!
Who is launching soon? Let's support each other 🚀

Gamification is a whole process so it shouldn't just be thrown into your community. I'm adding gamification elements to my platform hacker huddle and it requires deeply knowing your users
What's the most effective way to use gamification in community building? 🛣️

Any cool discord communities for founders?
Hey all, I'm looking for some chill discord communities for founders and indiehackers.
Any suggestions? Preferably not too crowded

A little late to the party but I'm building hackerhuddle.com to help with this. When do you plan to launch?
How to build contact & community before product launch?? How to ask them to support?

I read in the book "problem prospecting" that it might make sense to ditch your UVP. it's better to say something like this:
"if your tired/frustrated/etc with X problem or feeling then we can BENEFIT with PRODUCT"
for example
"If you're tired of spending hours writing upwork cover letters without landing a job, CoverWriter can help you land a contract in the next 24 hours"

Productizing app/web development
Hey all, I've been thinking for a while and I can't seem to find a clear way to productize app/web development services. However today, I had an idea and I'm just curious to see what you all think.
What do you think of this model?
1. Create "free" or low cost app front end templates
2. Charge for access to a prebuilt Supabase DB (one-time) and API end points (pay-per-use)
3. If needed, charge...

This seems like the perfect tool that I didn't know I needed. everything you described from the clunky interfaces and hefty prices from other companies is exactly how I feel. I'll be testing out your product for my projects soon! I wish you both the best ✊🏾
