Great product! I just noticed that when you have a profile and you click on someone else's profile, it shows your compatability. Is there any way to view profiles with high compatibility?

@natasha_che Very impressive service! It appears listeners must purchase audio on the web, and then they can consume it in the app, is that right? The "apple tax" has been a major hurdle for podcasters to sell their content in an app, and wondering if you had found a way around it.

I love my apple watch, but I disabled all the nagging abilities it has (standing, activity coaching). Now, watch OS7 adds the ability to police your handwashing (using the mic for running water as an indicator). It seems Apple has built more nagging into the roadmap, relying on flimsy indicators. Not a fan of this direction.

There's more going on here than just "edgy branding" and faux-environmentalism with that price. If you need absurdly expensive water as a status symbol, I feel sorry for you.

I like this idea, but I think at 25% commission, I would just build my own payment solution instead.

Happy International Podcast day! 🎙 Before I built Podfan I thought, in a sea of podcast hosting options, why don't podcasters have any alternatives to Patreon? Not only that, but the pricing of Patreon has become complex. Pricing on other private feed tools isn't even posted. With Podfan, you pay 1 low flat rate per member per month, and you get your page instantly, no credit card required....

Is there pricing information available?

I'm a bit confused - Luminary is a podcast subscription service, but also a podcatcher. Presumably some shows are behind the paywall and ordinary podcasts are not. So what is keeping it from reading RSS feeds of The Daily and Gimlet shows, like any other podcatcher?

I was all ready to install this until I saw it's $12/month! I realize that charging for use means "I am not the product", but I just can't justify that cost when I can otherwise get it for free. Actually makes me want to roll my own simplified, open-source analytics script

Does this only work for the Breaker app?
