I stick to a schedule, limit meetings to necessary ones, and make sure to take short breaks in between.

Embracing failure as a stepping stone to success, much like how Dropbox emerged from a failed gaming startup. It's a mindset thing but it's also a skill.

Work-life balance, in my opinion, is not only important but also necessary. Many people in the startup community continue to view it as an extravagance or even a distraction. However, I've discovered that taking a break and recharging actually boosts my productivity and creativity.

Not necessarily. Solo founders can be just as successful. But having a co-founder can mean shared responsibilities, diverse skills, and moral support in tough times.

We hit a major roadblock during our initial funding phase. Real stress-test for the team. But instead of imploding, we got creative, bootstrapped, and focused on lean development.

Conversion, big time. Some people dip after the trial and don't pay. Gotta figure out how to make 'em stick. Features? Price? It's a bit of a puzzle.

Flutter's been pretty cool - easy to build high-quality native interfaces on both iOS and Android. But, always open to new tools.

Yeah, joined a few incubators in the past. They offer great resources and connections. But, it's essential to make sure the program aligns with your startup's goals and stage.

Recently, I've been impressed by how Stripe's landing page converts. Straightforward messaging, clean design, and strong call-to-action. On a smaller scale, check out rooki.design, their simple yet effective design nails the user focus. Not perfect, but they show that understanding your audience's needs is key to a successful landing page.
What are some good landing pages you saw which convert ?

Not necessarily. I've seen rockstar coders who are completely self-taught. Platforms like Codecademy or Coursera offer solid grounds for self-learning. School gives you structured knowledge, yes, but creativity and problem-solving? That comes from experience and passion. Formal education or self-taught, what matters is the drive to learn and adapt.
Do you think programmers who learned how to code in school have an edge over self-taught ones?

Developing my guitar skills to the point that I can jam with nearby bands. The rush of performing live music and interacting with the audience is totally different. Coding is fantastic, but nothing can compare to those performances.

I go between using Notion for more complicated tasks and Trello for task management in the Kanban manner every day. My Google Calendar helps me stay on top of meetings and due dates. Occasionally, while working with bigger teams, I use Asana.
Share what task management systems you use, plz?

Your competitors are doing it, why shouldn't you? Just keep those users in the loop with updates on new features. They'll appreciate the transparency. Don't forget, done is better than perfect.

Pure hustle and a bit of luck! I networked like crazy, pitched my services to anyone who'd listen, and finally landed my first client through a referral. Provided them some value upfront and made sure to exceed expectations once I got the gig. It was all about proving my worth and earning their trust.
How did you get your first paying customer?
