This seems less of a "Netflix-killer" and more of a "HBO-killer." With WarnerMedia trying to turn HBO into Netflix, focused on broad array of content instead of the very best -- Apple may have the chance to control "high-quality content." @sethlouey - just tried to use it in Starbucks app with Apple Pay and got an error. Do you have to fund the account first - shouldn't the $10 credit cover it?

I would love if they partnered with local gyms in the city. When I travel for an extended period of time or even in another city for a few days, it makes it a lot easier to stay in routine if there is a gym accessible in the hotel.

Is this using a translation service like Google Translate? How does it work if the translated string is too long? Localization is a pain, but the cost barrier is pretty low (<$1,000) if a market is really important to you.

I actually used this to propose to my fiancé (she said yes). :) I'm glad I did it, but the build quality of the product is lackluster. The first one they sent didn't work and then they sent me another one that spontaneously stopped working. @virtualgoodz the website is a little light on details on how each of the things work? Do you support dynamic deeplinking in push (send each user to a most relevant place)?

@tomhschmidt - would be awesome if it all showed areas where surge was lower. I'd rather walk a block for 1.3x vs. 1.6x than 15 minutes for no surge.

We use Parse at Ebates for Push. They are the best "free" service and are much better than many expensive solutions. Their recent updates to the Android SDK which support multi-line and custom receivers make a big difference. The only thing I would like to see is faster sending of unique messages. I think Apple Pay's impact on eCommerce will be substantially greater than offline for the next 3-5 years. Conversion on mobile is a huge issue that people are trying to solve. The idea that you don't need a wallet for each app to checkout should be a win for merchants and consumers.
