Do you need to be a connoisseur of products to be a good product manager?
Inspired by a recent Twitter discussion... To paraphrase "you're not a proper product person if you don't spend substantial time looking at other people's products. You need to have 10 pages of apps on your phone otherwise I'm not going to hire you"
Looking at other people's products can be fun, but is it really a predictor of someone being able to build them?

I have followed Yana's journey with Kraftful for the last year and interviewed her on my podcast pre- and post-pivot. The new vision is exciting and offers an opportunity to sort through tonnes of feedback to get the insights you need to help you make good product decisions. All product teams should give Kraftful a spin!

Andrea & Dave recently posted their white paper "Product Market-Fit is dead!" and I was immediately taken by how punchy it was. I've interviewed many product people on my podcast and there are varying opinions about P/MF - some people think it's the nirvana, the promised land, the one thing that matters. Others think it's a fugazi, operationally useless, a "VC pipe dream". It's hard to...

A resource to help you define customer value
We speak of PMF as a badge you either have/don't have. In reality, the market is dynamic, the segment you focus on changes & your product is evolving. This whitepaper explores the pitfalls of PMF & improved ways to model & execute your product strategy.

🚀 Hi Product Hunt! 🚀
Thanks to @nikkielizdemere for hunting my little podcast 🥰
I started this podcast in autumn 2020, between national lockdowns, because I wanted to speak to the people that make the products we all know and love. As a product manager & leader myself, I know how tough it can be on the ground floor as well as when you're in charge. I wanted to ask passionate product...

This is an interesting concept. I've long struggled with Twitter's pitiful engagement statistics and am very curious as to the insights you've pulled together!
