Jerry Simms, originally from Ohio, made his way to Los Angeles as a child before settling in the beautiful community of La Jolla, California, in 1985. Beginning his career in the automotive industry, he owned and operated several successful dealerships in Pasadena, California. This initial foray into business laid the groundwork for subsequent ventures into banking and real estate, showcasing his versatile entrepreneurial skills. In 2000, Jerry expanded his business interests by acquiring Turf Paradise, a historic horse racing track in Phoenix, Arizona, initially established in 1956 by Walter Cluer.
