Hey Frank, great question.
As a B2B marketer I've been piling into the top of the funnel for over 15 years. Here's what I've learnt.
If you want true customer value, sales and marketing need to be symbiotic. In my experience, this comes from a deep understanding of a customer journey, from initial interest to an advocate. Planning this journey takes great sales insight into individual...

I love Webinars as a lead gen tool. Since Covid it's been my most successful marketing buddy.
Here's my Top tips...
1. Consider the headline. What is the benefit of attending? Not to see a demo. How will attending improve their role/business?
2. If your a B2B brand, promote using LinkedIn Sale Navigator and InMail ads. Precision target prospects with personalisation.
3. Consider using the...

Think about the problem you're solving, not he marketing channel to use.
Great brands all have a purpose or mission that their target audience can relate too. Believe it or not, we all buy with our emotions, even when buying B2B tech.
This fundamental purpose then becomes the narrative for all your marketing activity, whatever medium/platform your target audience use.
Brands that do this...

Launching Compell today - Feedback welcome
Greetings one and all.
I'm Jon, a B2B marketer from London town.
During Covid I hit apon a lead gen approach that delivered better results than outbound calling. I've now productised it, tied it in a pretty bow and called it 'Compell'.
A simple idea really.
Sales gurus tell us we're more likely to engage with our target audience if there is a complling reason too (like and event).

Try Sales Navigator to organise your leads. Helps create personalised InMail messages that resonate relevance.
Also, if you solve a particular target market 'pain point' try discussing it as a post then sharing it to your interest groups. You'll be amazed how many respond and if you're seen as part of the community, they're more likely to respond to any connection request.
Good luck

Webinars are a great way to build a community around a shared 'pain point'. I've always found that questioning your customers and prospects around what their top challenges are chould help you shape better topics and identify who your speakers should be. Good topics lead to better involvement, underpinning brand value as well as nurturing prospects along the way.
Webinars remain my most...

Don't try to sell too soon.
Instead engage your target audience with the problem you're trying to solve.
This 'empathetic' approach will enable you to interact with your audience and create genuine interest. Paving the way for more commercial conversations.
See you launch as a cycle. Positioning your brand purpose as your first activities to lay down, followed by nurturing prospects to get...
