As someone who uses real typewriters to write quite a bit, I opened this EXCLUSIVELY to see if I could backspace and x over typos. I was incredibly pleased to find that I could. I'm going to go share it with the folks in the Antique Typewriter Collectors FB group if they haven't seen it yet. 😄

I've been following @TheCoolestCool since WAY BACK WHEN, and he's definitely worthy of his username. Will buy this without hesitation.
Real talk for the complainers: ““Brands”” are going to crawl all over Reddit like grubby insects one way or another. Maybe someone responsible for marketing one of them will get this guide, and miraculously manage to do something there that doesn't suck (and is...

I bought this literally within 30 seconds of @heckmueller tweeting about it. Mind maps are the best way for me to explore every angle of an idea or every aspect of something I'm working on, and for years MindNode has been my go-to app for that. It's just the best out there for the way I use it. If they'd add a gift option to the Mac App Store, I'd buy copies of it for everyone I know just to...

I've been using a FlashAir II (and their accompanying iOS app) since Christmas, and I love it. It doesn't have the same problems that the EyeFi has – specifically, the EyeFi will only let a photo be transferred wirelessly to one device, and then it can't be transferred anywhere again. That was the deal breaker that led to me trying this instead, and I've had no issues whatsoever. These are a...

I found this after I bought a Kindle and wanted a way to send longer articles to it for reading in bed. Instapaper has a feature like this, I think, but this works as a Share extension in anything that supports it. I mostly use it from inside Pocket.

@mb I love Tumblr to pieces and I love what you all have done with the iOS app over the last couple of years. It's fantastic, easily the best way to blog on a mobile device.
I wish the icon were a little different though. Indicating depth and tilt on the left side of the ‘t’ without tilting the right side of the ‘t’ downward doesn't look right at all, and putting a drop shadow onto that only...

Exactly what I thought would happen is happening — The apps developers are making me more interested in Apple Watch than anything Apple did leading up to the launch. Can't wait to get my hands on one in the next year. Day One will probably be the first app I use on it. I already use it every night to write down things I'm thankful for.
