We're already using agora for this. I can see that the price is cheaper (the discounted one, the normal one seems the same as Agora). How do you compare in general? Do you have a flutter SDK?

Did you check Freescout? It's an opensource alternative that you can self-host. And it probably allows to send from your own email domain.

I would say test, test and test. Some time ago, I made the mistake of closing my room (way of talking as I was in coworking spaces) and developing something for months without testing or asking for feedback... and sometimes without even knowing who I'm developing this for. I've been working from home (and cafés/coworking space pre-covid) for 3 years now. It's quite important to "schedule" your breaks and include them in a routine. At least for me as I was finding myself working in a pyjama for 12 hours and forgetting to have lunch (or take a shower).
