Congrats on the launch guys. Love what you are doing. This is a massive add-on over your current suite that we have been exploring.
PS: amazing LinkedIn initiatives with the CEO holding a board of “faster than X”. 😂

Why Another Book on Product Management?
Most product content is contextual. It cannot be applied, or we forget it soon.
I wanted something timeless.
Profound but simple concepts emerged when I studied the patterns of adoption across this huge timeline.

Thanks, @pollock for hunting.
Hey Product Hunters,
I am quite excited and pretty nervous to launch my first book.
It explores the greatest fear all makers have:
"Will people love what I am making?"
And then there are some makers, whose products are hyper-adopted, repeatedly.
The question is, do the greatest creators think in a pattern?
And are there underlying principles that are...

My Open Offer of Help to any Entrepreneur who could use it.
Hey Everyone,
I am a founder with 8 failed and 3 successful products (small successes) over the past 11 years.
I can help you with product management, UX, some growth, and very much as a beta user to test out what you are making.
I did a version of it on PH earlier, and most people asked questions in comments.
This time, I am opening up my email address.
Just hit me up at...

This really depends upon what are you trying to accomplish.
My current goal is to ship fast for Lightcat.io . So I do not reinvent anything.
It is more important to write code that's useful to your customers, than write great code.
But when my goal is to have fun, and tinker with something I find interesting, I'd sure reinvent the wheel. That would be an "art project" or a "toy", not...
How often do you reinvent the wheel?

Hey Product Creators,
I am shipping a book - The Thought Experiment (https://gumroad.com/l/gHrTr)
From Aristotle to Elon Musk, many greats have talked about First Principles thinking.
But few people have talked about HOW to think in First Principles.
In this book, you solve a crime with Sherlock, using Inductive Reasoning; think like the Buddha, using Causal inference, while delving deeper...

Where is your Product stuck? We can help each other.
There are so many of us here that we can easily help each other. A few examples:
1. Idea and concept validation
2. Early beta testing, UX testing
3. Early Growth
So anything you need help with, post away.
I love trying new products and will do my best to help you.
I will start.
I could use help with User / Beta Testing for LightCat.io
We have over 50+ teams signed up in the last 10...

Are Introverted Makers less likely to launch fast?
As an Indie developer, I need to build, ship and also work on Growth.
I have found myself constantly being stressed out at the "idea" of sharing blogs, posts, etc with external audiences.
This seems like the digital equivalent of introversion.
Consequently, I have a very very high tendency to stop distribution and focus on building instead. Every single time I share a post (like this), I...

For a generic ML modelling. I would never touch a no code tool.
On the contrary, if you gave me a no-code image recognition library / tool which I could embed in my product - I would definitely try it.
In a nutshell, specific use case >> no code works. Generic use case >> no code sounds scary for ML.
Do you need simple no code machine learning tool?

Recently released new version of LightCat (https://www.LightCat.io), to help keep your Product Stack in one place for Free (or $9 - instead of $50+ per user).
Lightcat is built around the following thesis.
- User Stories should point to resources(specs, designs) without copy-pasting links.
- (soon) Story should track it's impact on the metrics by itself - not in Tableau.
I am an...

Recently released new version of https://www.LightCat.io, to help keep your Product Stack in one place for Free (or $9) instead of $50+ per user.
Problem: Product Management is supposed to be about taking the right product decisions. Instead most PMs have to spend their time in operations, updating softwares, teams etc.
Lightcat is built around the following thesis.

"Hypergrowth" is killing innovation
I have long since believed that everything associated with tech startups is inherently designed to help us be more innovative as a society.
Lately, my opinion has changed.
What triggered the change was the realisation that the "Growth" as a centrepoint of technology business is very 21st century. All the technology greats we know of - from HP to Microsoft to Apple - functioned under a...

How ethical is it to "steal" competitors' ideas?
Some of you know that I have been building [LightCat.io](http://lightcat.io) for Product Teams and many of you have been incredibly supportive of the journey.
What I have found really amusing is that many competitors, having raised millions of dollars, have features that are not hard to build, and sometimes even improve upon.
For example, LightCat has a Feature Prioritisation scheme which is...

Is the Product Development stack broken in the Post Covid world?
Until just a couple of years ago, most of the companies were marketing driven, or sales driven. Now everytime a recession (or a slowdown) hits, enterprise becomes scrappy.
Sometimes, that can cause a systemic shift that stays.
Like self serve restaurants (from Great Depression if 1930s).
In the hyper-connected digital world of today, the thing that will get affected the most is how...

Hey, first of all - Congrats and wow. You just graduated high school and trying to start up - this is incredibly great in itself.
There are at least a few errors you are likely doing here - based on your question. Most of us have done those mistakes, so you need not worry. But you do need to be aware of them.
Mistake 1 : Worrying that someone will "beat you to it". That is very very rare....

We are working on Lightcat - a tool for Product Teams that is a cross breed between Smart Docs like Notion, and Kanban boards, with a way to record all metrics that move due to a feature release.
This is what Lightcat helps product teams...

The copy is not clear right now. I could not understand what it is for - like what's "the beginning", "game life" etc
How is the upcoming page? Any suggestions?
