I initially built NameGuessr to learn data crawling and Django. That was a disastrous build, but it worked!
This time around, I've rebuilt the entire data model and app from the ground up, unlocking much more interesting insights from the data and also making the app super snappy.
I also used this as an opportunity to learn Remix and the "modern" tech stack which was tons of fun.
Hope you...

The future of remote work is: remote work is the future.
Some people debate whether it's just a fad or if it's feasible in the long run.
But the reality is there's a whole generation of the workforce who entered during the pandemic (me included), and stayed remote since with no intention of going back.
I think over time we'll begin to see that lifestyle develop more as new tools and...

I'm gonna controversially say that trying to meticulously find a balance is far too over-rated.
Some weeks of life it's just work time, some weeks it's family and friends, the balance shifts constantly and adapts. Just take it as it goes.
What's the most valuable lesson you've learned about balancing work and personal life?

Crafting launch day plan, putting together a checklist, etc.
It feels like there's always more to do for the launch and at this point I'm just excited to get through it and move on to the next part of product development!
How are you prepping for your upcoming product/SaaS launch?

Pitching in my 2 cents, I feel like the volume of launches has dramatically increased since the GPT hype started.
As a result, getting your name out there amongst the thousands of competitors has made things more difficult.
It also seems like people want AI products more than ever, judging on the attention seemingly non-differentiated chatGPT wrappers have been getting on the platform lately

Launching a non-AI tool in 2023, doomed mission or advantage?
It's hard to ignore the massive wave of AI tools flooding PH as of late.
As someone launching a non-AI tool soon this got me wondering if a non-AI launch is at an advantage or disadvantage with this current trend.
do you think non-AI tools still have a chance? Have you launched a non-AI tool recently? How did it go?

Two months ago, I set out to escape Canadian winter and work remotely in a warmer climate.
As a remote worker, I had the freedom to work abroad for a few months, but most of my friends weren't so fortunate. So I began searching online for communities of like-minded remote workers I can join.
The search journey was tough. Popular communities were often fully booked out, and I found myself...

Super cool, especially love that tagline ๐
I do feel people might feel a bit off giving you their API key like this, is the key being stored on your servers?

I was curious to learn more about Django, data crawling, and AI so I decided to start this little side project as a fun app to predict a person's identity from just a given name! Looking to hear your feedback on the project, suggestions for the future or anything else!
I believe this app would do really well on social media platforms. Through user testing I found people loved to try their own...
