Hi! Probably the most popular monetization platform is actually WordPress. There are tons of way to earn money from your own website: sell subscriptions to your content, do affiliate marketing, create courses, do paid product reviews, etc. I'm selling subscriptions to my website and using WordPress + Zlick Paywall for this. Really happy with the results.

I have used Zlick paywall, so I would recommend it because it is similar to what you can see on New York Times and it uses server-side technology and readers can not bypass this.
