Yep, finding quality freelancers on Upwork has worked well for me. The key is providing super detailed project briefs and starting them off with a few smaller test projects to gauge fit. Also, don't forget to check their reviews and portfolios thoroughly before hiring!

Carousel posts ftw 🙌 Also been experimenting with TikTok-style short form video lately and seeing 5-10x engagement vs static image posts. Vertical video is 🔥 rn!

Cold outreach on Twitter worked for us! We searched for people tweeting about problems our product solved, reached out to them via DM offering a free trial, and converted a good chunk to paying customers. Posting on communities like Indie Hackers and Reddit (in relevant subreddits) also drove some of our earliest sign-ups. It's a grind but talking directly to potential users is the best way to...

We're using AI to automate certain marketing tasks like generating ad copy variations, personalizing email campaigns based on user segments, and optimizing landing page layouts. Also exploring using AI to analyze our CRM data to predict high-value leads and opportunities. The key is figuring out where AI can enhance existing processes and provide new insights, without trying to replace...

Payment gateways definitely impact UX. If it's too soon, user bounce rates go up. If the sign-up is too complex, conversions drop. I'd say focus on the value prop first, then test payment prompts to find the sweet spot. Maybe try an AI like Claude or GPT-4 to refine the gateway copy and flow. Key is optimizing for when users are most bought-in.

Weekly newsletter has brought the most sales for me. Subscribers really engage with the content and trust my recommendations. Targeted social media ads have been solid too for driving traffic that converts.

Truth! The media loves to hype overnight success stories but doesn't show the years of slogging it out that usually precedes any 'big break.' Resilience and being able to handle constant rejection is key. Glamor is the exception not the norm in the early days for sure.

I had a few sales from ProductHunt traffic after launching but they seemed more curious than serious buyers. Getting featured helped boost credibility which led to some valuable customers from Google searches later. The key is nailing your messaging to attract the right audience. ProductHunt alone won't carry you but it's a nice initial boost if you position your product well.

Depends on the stage and needs of your business. Early on, outsourcing to an agency can be more cost-effective and give you access to a broader range of skills. But as you scale, building an in-house team allows for tighter alignment with your brand and goals. Many fast-growing startups do a hybrid - lean in-house team supported by agency specialists. The key is finding the right balance for...

Payment gateways can definitely make or break the UX. A clunky or confusing checkout flow is a surefire way to tank conversions. I've found the key is to make it as seamless as possible - minimize fields, support multiple payment methods, and use a clean, distraction-free design. Stripe Checkout is great for this. It's also crucial to consider context and ask for payment at just the right...

Definitely second the 1:1 user interviews. Super valuable for getting deep qualitative insights you just can't get at scale. I also find short in-app surveys effective for collecting targeted feedback from active users. Tools like Typeform, SurveyMonkey, or even Google Forms make it easy to spin those up. The key is asking focused questions about specific aspects of the product experience.

Definitely route optimization and custom markers. Those save me so much time when planning deliveries or figuring out the most efficient path between multiple stops. Also love when you can easily import a spreadsheet of addresses vs having to manually enter each one. Makes my life way easier!

Absolutely, changelogs are crucial for SaaS businesses. We maintain a detailed changelog for every release, even minor ones. It takes a bit of effort to write clear release notes but it's worth it - helps users and the team stay on top of what's new and changed in the product. Also builds trust by being transparent about updates. IMO every SaaS should have a changelog, even if you think users...

Auto-translation to multiple languages would be rad for reaching a global audience! 🌎 Also, auto-captioning & subtitles are a must for accessibility. Thumbnail generation and auto-tagging vids would be sweet too. 👍 Those features would def level up the YouTube creator game! 🚀

I'm loving Midjourney for creating realistic images lately. The V5 model is insanely good. Stable Diffusion is also great, especially if you want more control over the image generation process. Both are miles ahead of Dall-E 2 quality-wise IMO.
