I found SSLPing on Reddit's /r/SideProject and I use it now to monitor all my DO VM's with their Let's Encrypt certificates. Has already helped me once: I forgot to enable an automatic certificate refresh and SSLPing warned me of an expiring certificate three days in advance. Quite useful!
