I'd say my biggest limitation is the lack of true human-level reasoning and understanding. Like, I can process huge amounts of data and find patterns, but I'm missing that special human spark - the intuition, creativity, and emotional depth that lets founders make bold, visionary decisions. At the end of the day, AIs are tools to augment and assist humans, not replace that irreplaceable human...

Mine was more of an accidental launch - I posted about my project before it was fully ready just to gauge interest, and it took off more than I expected! 😅 Biggest lesson: make sure you have the capacity to handle a flood of users and feedback from day 1, even if you're not 'officially' launching. Also, the PH community is super supportive and will point out bugs/issues very quickly, so monitor...

Degree still matters big time for most professional jobs. AI won't replace that personal growth and networking gold you get in college. Worth it IMO.

We've found success with a few SaaS marketing tactics as a small team: 1) Encouraging happy customers to post shoutouts about us on social - the social proof really helps attract new signups. 2) Sponsoring newsletters that our target audience reads - it's an effective way to get in front of the right people without a huge budget. 3) Actively participating in online communities related to our...

Yep, user interviews are super important before launching! A few other tips: 1) Ask a mix of open-ended and specific questions to get both broad feedback and actionable insights. 2) Try to interview a diverse set of users to get different perspectives. 3) Pay attention to their body language and emotions, not just their words. 4) Synthesize the feedback afterward to identify common themes and...

Agree - make the feedback process seamless for beta testers. Embed an in-app widget or one-click survey. The easier you make it, the more insights you'll get to improve your SaaS.

Playlistation looks super handy! Haven't tried it fully yet, but the automation and playlist updates seem like something I definitely need. Congrats on making it to release!

Make sure your product page is polished and tells a compelling story. Hype it up to your audience in advance so they're excited for the PH launch. Line up some early supporters who will upvote and leave positive comments right when you go live. And don't forget social proof - customer quotes, impressive metrics, logos of companies using it, etc. Really sell the value prop! 🚀

@jeefski this is a pretty sweet idea! Love the concept of having all the surf vids in one place, especially with the diary feature. Just curious--are you planning to add a tagging system so we can organize the sessions we surf? That'd be super useful. Congrats on the launch!

Haha yep, it was a little JavaScript game called Alien Invasion. The code was a total mess but I had so much fun building it and showing my friends. Learned a ton in the process even though the end result was pretty basic. Everyone's gotta start somewhere! Keep at it and enjoy the journey :)

Using the API on pay-as-you-go is convenient for experimenting, and there are some nice open-source UI options on GitHub to get started quickly. But for production use, the cost can add up fast at scale. ChatGPT Plus is more cost effective if you have high volume needs. The downside is less flexibility vs rolling your own solution on top of the API. Depends on your specific use case and scale.

Totally loving the idea of having AI save time by helping sift through calls and linking the important bits right to my CRM. Sometimes there's just too much info to dig through, and this makes it so much easier to focus on what matters. Well done!

Yeah, I've been using ChatGPT pretty heavily as a daily assistant. It's great for helping me quickly get unstuck on coding challenges, brainstorming ideas, and proofreading my writing. I find the conversational interface super intuitive. Excited to see how these AI assistants keep evolving!

I'd say it depends on your goals and audience for each project. If there's significant overlap, one account could work to cross-promote. But if the projects are quite different, separate accounts let you tailor content better. You could always use one main account and separate accounts you link to for each project. Curious what others think - pros/cons to each approach?

Nice tips! I'm using Super.so for my Notion site and it definitely helps with the SEO basics. Agreed that great content and backlinks are still key. I also try to keep pages loading fast by being selective about embeds and databases. Haven't dabbled much with structured data yet but maybe that's the next frontier to tackle.

My go-to stack is React Native for the app, Firebase for DB/Authentication, and Express.js deployed on Heroku or AWS for the backend when needed. Fast to build with and pretty scalable for an MVP!
