Hey guys,
today we launched the beta of our web app Gnarlist. With Gnarlist you can create public spotify playlists with predefined rules.
An '80s Rock Hits playlist could look like this:
Only every "5 minutes" songs from the genre "Rock" and the period "1980-1989" may be added to the playlist.

I like the pricing page of Typeform very much. Everything looks very clean, especially in the detail view. Very well solved I find the colored highlighting of the additional features in the individual packages.

I would first try to find out the weaknesses of the existing product and then check if your idea offers an benefit / USP for the target group. In my opinion it is best to start with surveys and user tests before building the platform.
If you find a product similar to what you're building, will you continue building it?

In most cases we inform our customers by e-mail about the release of their website or app.
If things like presentations or designs cannot be sent by e-mail due to the size of the data, we use services such as weTransfer.

Try to explain your product to people from different fields who have never had any contact with it before. Get their feedback. Often other ways of seeing and thinking bring new ideas.

I don't think you can get a blanket answer to your question. In the end it depends on which phase your product or idea is in and how extensive it is.
I work as a UX consultant and designer in an agency, but we still outsource certain design tasks to freelancers or other agencies.
If you're still in the early stages, I'd get some inspiration on platforms like dribbble and then try out tools...
How do you source design work?
