We thanked our community with a "Community Early Access" program ahead of our launch. AMA.
We were able to celebrate with our community *before* our product launch by giving them early access to Common Room before the curtain lifted for everyone else. It was a great way to thank these important individuals for being a part of our community and also get their feedback before generally availability as well as their support for our Product Hunt launch...

We use Slack for our community of community builders (meta, I know). I like it because I am personally more familiar with the platform as are a lot of the folks who have joined (and we hope will join) our community—this makes it easier for people to jump into conversation and get value right away. However, there are limitations on the free version of Slack in terms of reporting and message...
