I've always enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together, whether it be in my mind or in real life. I cut my teeth in the electronics industry when, as a child, I assembled RS-232 "break-out" boxes (that my father designed and sold) and then later moved on to more advanced "Heath-Kit" electronic kits. In my youth I've held many positions in the electronics manufacturing industry that range from placing components into circuit boards to soldering to hand assembly and even to packaging and shipping end products. As a member of NextFab (Philadelphia's high-tech fabrication workspace, contract fabricator and rapid prototyping center) I've acquired proficiency in CAM/CAD software including SolidWorks, VCarve Pro (ShopBot), Vectric Aspire and CADSoft Eagle, as well as Adobe CC.
