This is good. One exercise I discovered due to pain in hip - sit on edge of seat with knees and ankles together and bend down trying to bring chest down to knees. My daughters have no issue - I cannot go down even half way !!!

They seem to miss the context and lack nuance. In many ways I find they resemble Data from Star Trek. When the AI tries too hard to be human it seems to plunge into uncanny valley (Pi - the fake laughing is so bad). Anyway to spot them on PH is not always so easy tho

Some years ago I decided I had to do something about my weight and looked to Sten Ekburg on YouTube. Was going to do keto but tried intermittent fasting instead. Well that worked so well for me I never needed to try keto. These days I have to eat extra calories (ie dessert) so I don’t lose too much weight. Wish I’d found about fasting 20 years ago but better late than never! 🙂

The older I get the more I realise that all fields - music, art, business - are driven by “find your audience”. Do the work you think will build an audience and go from there. Hard work that does not satisfy or increase your audience is probably a total loss. So work smarter and do what is needed to build your audience.

It’s difficult to beat the bitter + bubbly combo that is lager, but i find myself reaching for Campari and soda water most often now. It’s bitter, and bubbly, and awesome in summer.

It was reasonably clear from the outset that AI should be used as an aide rather than a replacement. But I do feel that illustrators are the worst hit as pics from ai are “good enough” for many commercial applications. For writing, software, music, law, medicine, etc, the AI will usually be a helper. And for large budget projects ai art is also going to be an aide. Personally, I like to use ai...

Don’t be too sure. Give big decisions time and if it passes by and you’re still not sure then it’s a “no”. And if you rush to “yes” you should ask yourself and others what downsides there are that you’re missing (because you likely are).

I’m not a marketer but can provide a data point for what it’s worth. Companies that send me high quality, well designed email newsletters about once a month on products I’m intested in always get a look. At that frequency I’m always ok with checking them out. I particularly like POC (sportswear brand). Sleek emails, sale alerts, once a month or less. Very nice 👌

I’m using a bunch of >10 year old Mac PowerBooks with Linux installed. very very old laptops and they run plenty fast. I would recommend Linux mint as it is just very simple and easy to use (I have use other Linux’s too). So I would say get a used Mac as they last and can have Linux added on at some point to future proof

For quick answers to questions AI is far better than google. I don’t know about finding businesses and services though. Does anyone use AI fi find a local plumber? I doubt it

I like the range of products that appear here. I like the community too. Interesting products usually get great comments that I’m sure are helpful to the developers

Imo extroverts are the only decent sales people. They know how to make small talk, they like people, and can chat about anything. And they do! The sale comes afterwards.
