Visually, I've always liked the idea of multi-colored chiclets. Then, when CryptoKitties ignited the digital collectible craze, I immediately thought of creating a collection system based on a map of the Earth. Initially, we looked at what3words to serve as our addressing system, but then Google launched Plus Codes, which is a perfect vehicle for a new kind of domain name.

I made Twack in response to finding Twitter's Home Page too cluttered. Many people I follow aren't that vocal, and so their posts would often get buried. Twack takes its inspiration from Slack and Google Reader. From Slack, it turns the people you follow into channels, making it easier to drill down and focus on their story.
