I was excited to try this out and was immediately stopped by an Apple account being the only login option. You have highlighted it's privacy centric but tying the app to an apple login really defeats that purpose.

👎 Not only is this idea distasteful, but it literally gate keeps people without means. It completely misses the beauty, passion, and importance of open source software.

Excited to try this out. 🌱 One comment: Love that this is an open source product... in the spirit of that, you may want to consider allowing for email signup in the app as opposed to forcing the choice between Github and Google. Seems like it would be in line with the open source ethos to decouple those companies from using the product.

😐 Yikes. You might want to consider that there are all sorts of people that have don't have a cis male partner, there are people who aren't women who have cycles, and the potential invasive and controlling implications of this.
