Back to indie-hacking again
It's been approximately 2 years am been away from indiehacking because of my job and studies but this is the thing I felt I've been missing the most.
I also skipped the AI boom and tried building the wrappers but wrappers can be toppled anytime. It's good for quick money but not something you can ascertain in the long run.
So I shelved my wrapper ideas and back to the ground again to build...

How do you choose which product to put upfront if you have multiple products?
Hello, makers with multiple products.
I am confused how to decide which one to promote and when.. for example, assume you have 3 products and while engaging in daily activities on Twitter, IndieHackers, or ProductHunt and while writing comments etc, how do you choose which product to put upfront than the rest?

You need to come out of your lala land and think from multiple perspectives to grow, even if it requires crashing everything.
Had I done this with Dictozo.com it could have 100K users now. I always cared about making it perfect before telling to people.
What have you learned the most from failure?

Discount is an illusion for me.
Product maker's got a price in mind and decided to put a double price tag.
A product worth 40$ got a price tag of 70$ and over that, you get 50% off. So eventually you pay 35$.. which was the exact price in the maker's mind.
Win win for both
Discounts: yes or nah?

I build dictozo.com
Because I was not good at English and keep forgetting the words even after recalling them.
So I build this chrome extension to keep highlighting the words over every website (with meaning) i visit once I save them.
Now dictozo is doing the same for 115 languages.
Unluckily I don't see it is a good market and anybody would pay for it so i didn't market.
What was your 1st product and why did you decide to build it?

How'd you choose to install your next app?
You have 2 situations:
1. Suppose you saw a great app advertisement that (pretends to) cut down your time by half and increase productivity. Will you try it instantly?
2. You see someone you follow already using it (not a paid promotion). You just find out somehow that person is using it.
If I want to make you install my app. Which case should I go for?
Why I am asking this question (if...

Mention your favourite product.
I am building an app networking tool where everyone can share the tools they use to stay productive. This will help newcomers to exactly find the right tool for their needs. So it’s a peer-to-peer apps discovery platform.
So please mention your favorite software in the comment with the reason why and let others find it.

It depends on the product itself. some of my product took more than 2 years some 2 days.
How long did it take to build your first product?

Is it necessary to wait for a year for the first sale?
I am currently going through the book Sell Like Crazy by Sabri Suby. No doubt there are tons of info on how to sell and brand placements, writing copy, etc. in his bestselling book.
BUT....
This whole thing looks like a messed up web of unjumbled possibilities.
What if I don't have a team who write sales copy, does 100s of AB testing. I am a single guy who just wants to sell courses, books,...

Has anyone tried minds social platform?
I was finding out some low tier social platforms (apart from insta, reddit, facebook etc) when I came across minds.com. Has anybody used it yet?
They claim they pay for content creation. If you have been using this platform let me know some starting tips.

Suggest me free Instagram hashtag research tool?
I am looking for a simple hashtag research tool for twitter and Instagram (preference). My basic needs are:
- It should suggest me 20 - 25 hashtags on a given keyword
- The suggested keywords must have the popularity metrics around it (no of posts or engagement %)
The famous keyword research tools are too bulky (dozens of features) and have plans starting from 40$ per month. I don't need...
