What's the distribution strategy? Are there any stats you can pull on what the breakdown of 'searching for files in emails' are? If so, you might be able to find market signals that highlight an addressable, receptive demo.

Ugh. This is an embarrassingly good idea... coming from New Zealand (Where no one uses checks, ever, EVER.) it seems really, really crazy that there's even a gap to close in the first place... and yet I still find myself giving four figures to very old Portuguese woman on a physical piece of paper every month... even after I outsource tasks so minor as to be virtually inconsequential to my...

One thing I've always admired about religious communities is their ability to create incredibly effective internal distribution channels, held together by what's effectively a shared-values protocol. Anything that aligns with the value system gets promoted, anything against that value system gets shunned... both top down and bottom up.

Hmm. I suppose Display ads might not be the best acquisition channel... perhaps Podcasts? Radio? If you added in a translator module, you could end up a Babelfish-style app, which could get you into the travel market, too.

Interesting... are you finding any consistencies in the kind of use-cases your customers are leveraging it for? Also, do you think an enterprising yong dev-shop could use this to clone existing apps with text-based UI's, and (using your product) make them accessible for the blind/sight-impaired community?

Awesome landing page... that's a CTA done RIGHT. I wonder what their conversion rate is like... did you know that texts have a 95% open rate in the first 5 mins?

Hmm. Any plans for expansion on future models, @rossingram ? This looks like a fun toy, but I think a flying Ollie-drone with a camera attached - one that still fits easily in your pocket and stands up to a little rough-and-tumble (Perhaps one that uses the smartphone camera feed to auto-focus on specific targets) would become very popular very quickly - with stronger, more substantial...

This is really pretty... moreover, it feels pretty comprehensive. Have you considered using Google trends to look for spikes in searches for terms (such as when we invent a new word, or coin a new term) and using the registration data you have to build an automatic meta-domain-camper that buys the .com's before the words themselves become popular? Not saying you should, as this would make...

Interesting... I assume you'll shift to an ad-supported model eventually? Re: Opening mind-maps, you might consider taking a look at what Pearltrees have done re: collaborative visual categorization.

What's the model here? I've always been curious with this play... from the recently canned Cinch (which possibly fell over to to parent company Klout's exit) going right back to the (comparably primitive) aardvark.
Where do you see the upside here? Local merchants? Ad inventory?
