One of my favourite ones is Obviously Awesome by April Dunford. Great book on how to effectively position your company with really practical advice and frameworks.
Another book I recommend my team to read is Influence by Robert Cialdini. Just a classic book to help understand the psychology of decision making and how you can use this to help your business grow.
Oldie but a classic, and I was...

Having done a few expos, conferences etc. here are a couple of tricks I’ve tried.
Are you planning to engage / network with people on the floor, or do you have a booth or presence?
If you’re networking on the floor, then I’d suggest getting a tee shirt printed and grab some calling cards or flyers. You should be able to walk up to people, hand them a flyer and then have a few seconds to...
Does anyone have experience going to in person expos to find customers? Any advice?

What’s the one thing that is most important to keep you engaged in a community?
When I join a community, what keeps me coming back are the other members and the discussions (like this one), but I’m curious to see if there are other more important things for people, like being able to provide direct feedback on a product, networking or getting insights that you can use to do your job better.
Looking forward to your insights!

One I discovered a few years ago that I keep going back to is Metro Retro. More limited than Figma, but nice and simple to introduce new teams to retrospectives.

One guy, Devin Reed, commented that AI is going to produce mediocrity at scale, and I think we're starting to see that. Google and other engines are going to be developing their algos to understand better whether the content that is produced is actually of value to humans, and I think that this will be a key differentiator between good AI SEO and whether it is penalised.
At present I'd say...

When you're planning your budget, I think that you have to start with a clear set of objectives. Are you looking to establish product-market fit, experiment with different channels and audiences, or charge up your growth. Depending on the objective you'll want to prioritise channels differently and allocate your budget appropriately.

I think the best thing you can do is to look at 20+ people who you would like to have as customers and see what groups / pages / servers they engage with. Often you can find links within one profile leading to another. If you can find the right channel, then make the posting helpful. There is nothing more jarring than reading a flow of comments and suddenly a product promotion stands out for...

I've tried a couple of things that seem to work to get better insights - depending on the distribution channel. In blogs we did a rating side-bar that would expand into an optional "deeper insights" form. For reports, if we were capturing their details as leads, we'd do a direct follow-up and engagement to get their feedback.
