I think as a software developer these days you don't need a safety net. Get a cloud certification and companies will compete for you. The salary should also be enough to pay of some "self financed pre seed money".

Whats your way to stay focused?
In the mean time we have many tools in our that interrupt my work: Slack, Gitlab, Email, Trello, etc. All these plattforms are always open in my computer and send me constant interruptions. On the one hand I rely on them for stuff like alerts and failed software integration pipelines, on the other hand I don't have hours of uninterrupted work anymore.
What are your strategies? How do you find...

OMG, we need this too. Powerusers get so much more efficient with keyboard shortcuts in our tool. I will come back to you, when we have a big enough user base!

When did you conduct your first end user tests?
Some weeks ago, we started our first end user tests of our web app and the results were devastating: None of the users understood any of our concepts or UX ideas. We were blown away. We finally understood, why we loose so many users in the on boarding process. I read this on hacker news and other platforms 1000 times and still we fall into this trap and build our solution without user feedback....

@bahaa If you already solved every problem that ever came your way, building an infinitely zooming web application sounds like a challenge. Or just get a child. Don't do both though ;-)
