I help children with reading challenges read better using a machine that understands their individual difficulties very well. Although I have to say, I once asked my grandma what she thought of mobile phones and she was completely unfazed, she said "you know, there were no airplanes when I was a little girl. At my age, you've really seen it all" :D
How would you explain what do you do to your grandparents?

I think the problem with that is that companies like Google and FB would need to know so much more about us in order to deliver that kind of promise (because let's face it, when we say "the internet" in this context, we're talking about 3 or 4 companies). So the question probably is, how much more do you want them to know about you?

They both give you traffic and potentially meet different purposes. @mariam_hakobyan5 posted a few days ago about what they got in terms of traffic and downloads from reaching #1 product of the day on PH here: https://www.softr.io/blog/producthunt-launch Maybe this gives you a bit more of an idea whether that could be helpful for you.

Taking too long to make decisions. It cost me a lot of time in the first year. I'm quite risk averse so I always wanted to consider all information, options, risks, etc, but on at least one occasion, no (quick) decision cost me more than a bad decision. I'm much better at decision-making now, but still learning to trust my gut. Curious if that's something that comes easily to most people....

We use GoogleForms to keep it as simple as possible (and free). We have different surveys that range from 1 question (Csat-style) to more focused depending on what we're trying to validate. It's easy to add options for written feedback and willingness to expand during a call...

Both approach would work though, depends what kind of scale and degree of involvement you're looking for. I'd go with option 1, even if it's probably a bit more work. It will be easier to set expectations for product that might still have bugs and have people cooperate with you to help find and resolve them. Could also get you to sales faster. You can still do a large Beta, just be aware that...

Digital Media analyst and Ad tech consultant. I was working with ad tech platforms and media publishers and moved in a totally different direction. Probably not as big a change as coming from Archeology :)

I use them for a lot of things. Honestly one of the best for me was FreeMind, I used it for the long time but I've now been looking for a more cooperative (=online) tool. I tried Coggle recently but the interface was too distracting and unwieldy. It was constantly dis-organizing my thoughts, if that makes sense. Testing MindMeister and MindNode right now, and like them so far.
Anyone use mindmaps to prepare presentations or articles?
