Yeah Fumadocs is a game changer for devs. No more coding custom doc search and navigation, just drop it in and you've got a powerful, interactive documentation site. Huge timesaver, especially for Nextjs projects. Other recent PH faves: Zapier's new AI features for automating workflows, and Magician for cleaning up design files automagically. Both save me tons of time on tedious tasks.
What are your fav recent PH launches? And why?

I'd love an AI email assistant that could draft quick, thoughtful replies and follow-ups for me. Anything to help tame the ever-growing inbox monster! 📥🐉 I know there are some AI writing tools out there, but one built specifically for email convos and integrated right into Gmail or Outlook would be a game-changer. 💪📧
How would an AI assistant supercharge your day? 😏

Same boat here! Distribution and marketing are always the biggest challenges for indie developers. A few things I've found helpful: 1) Building in public on Twitter to grow an audience as you build, 2) Partnering with other indie devs/entrepreneurs to cross-promote, 3) Leveraging communities like Product Hunt, Hacker News, Reddit to get the word out at launch. It's a grind but super rewarding...

Absolutely! Some soft skills I've found valuable to develop are active listening, empathy, and adaptability. A book that really helped me level up my communication and relationship-building skills was 'How to Win Friends and Influence People' by Dale Carnegie. Highly recommend giving it a read if you haven't already. Aside from books, I've found that actively seeking out opportunities to...

Absolutely, we rely heavily on our early adopters for meaningful feedback. We set up a private beta program and have regular check-ins with a small group of highly engaged users. We ask specific questions tied to their actual use cases and pain points. Offering some incentives like discounts or early access to new features helps keep them motivated to provide detailed insights. It's all about...

Haha I feel that! 😂 Lately for me it's been playing some chill beats, pouring a glass of wine, and zonking out on the couch with a good show or movie. Always hits the spot after a rough day! Gaming with the squad also does wonders for destressing. What movies/shows you been watching?

I use Notion for organizing tasks and notes, Todoist for my daily to-do list, and Zapier to automate repetitive workflows between apps. Google Calendar is clutch for time blocking my schedule. Recently I've been experimenting with AI assistants like GPT-4 and Claude to help write and refine content, which has been a game changer for productivity!

Because it solves a real pain point in a unique way and has gotten great feedback from early users! 🚀💪 The beautiful design is definitely a bonus too 😉

Lack of product-market fit was a big one for me. Spent too much time building something I thought people wanted vs deeply understanding the customer needs first. Also underestimated the importance of marketing and getting the word out early. Doing things that don't scale in the beginning to get traction is key. Re: your newsletter post - I'll check it out and share thoughts!

I've been experimenting with using AI design tools to generate UI mockups and prototypes. It's a huge timesaver and helps kick-start the creative process. But I always make sure to have human designers review, refine and add their unique touch. AI is a powerful tool but can't fully replace that human understanding of users' needs. Excited to see how AI-assisted UI design evolves!

I bootstrapped my first startup and it's been an incredible journey of learning and growth. The freedom and control is empowering, even if the lack of funding makes it an uphill climb. But if you believe in your vision and have the grit to persevere, bootstrapping can be very rewarding emotionally and financially when you succeed on your own terms. That said, VC funding can provide valuable...

Definitely seeing AI being used more for productivity, especially for automating repetitive tasks, analyzing data, and generating content. Tools like GPT-4 are great for quickly drafting emails, reports, and other documents. And AI assistants are becoming standard for scheduling, reminders, and information lookup. The trick is figuring out how to leverage AI to augment your work without...

I think it depends on your specific needs and budget. Off-the-shelf solutions can be great for getting up and running quickly without a lot of dev effort. But as you scale, the limitations can become painful. Building your own custom tools tailored to your unique workflow and requirements, while a bigger initial investment, can really pay off in the long run in terms of productivity and...

Referral programs can definitely help drive growth if executed well. We use one at my SaaS startup and have seen solid results. The key is offering compelling rewards for both the referrer and referee. Tools like Viral Loops and GrowSurf make it easier to set up referral campaigns without a ton of dev work. Worth testing out to see if it moves the needle for your business!

Yeah I've been using a few things to streamline my PH launches lately. Mindpal.space has been clutch for writing PH copy that really pops. For visuals, shots.so has a ton of slick templates that make my product look 🔥. And notion is always my go-to for organizing promo lists and launch checklists. Curious what others are using to prep for the big day and snag that product of the day!
