I travel 8-10 times a year (often short/quick trips) - it's my favorite thing to do!
How many times per year do you travel for leisure/vacation?

@rrhoover 1) Riffing on something @anildash shared on twitter this week, but a lot of product/business advice can prove unhelpful (or flat out wrong) if it doesn't share strongly aligned context. Would be cool to have some way to use a series of objective qualities (product type, stage, size, subject matter) with more qualitative goals in order to match founders/makers into smaller,...

My first FT tech job was at Kickstarter. I'd just moved to NYC from Madison, WI after finishing my PhD in English Lit, and I'd had a real hodge-podge of previous jobs (teaching literature, writing/editing, waitressing) that definitely didn't scream "highly qualified startup person." That said, the job I was applying for ("Community/Marketing Hero") was also vaguely defined and seemed to require...

This game is so good! I don't usually play match-3 games but I love the battle elements and the unpredictability that brings. I legit lost about 3 hours last night without even realizing it, making this one of the more dangerous things I've downloaded in awhile. Nice work!

I can't help but immediately feel perplexed by the idea of surveillance-as-a-store, though arguably this is no more invasive than what already happens when we shop online.

Originally created for the backers of their Kickstarter project, The Double Fine Adventure documentary is now up on youtube and free for all. A must-see for anyone who is interested in game development and curious about what it's like behind-the-scenes running a game studio. A+ work from filmmakers 2 Player Productions.

Interesting idea! Echoing other sentiments here, but I'd also like to know more about ingredients/where things are sourced from.
I'm also frequently saddened by the lack of more authentic items on Asian menus, so I'm curious if menus are designed more around familiar choices or if there's room for exploration/discovery? To me the greatest thing about Asian food is the diversity of...
