Foster has been so incredible in helping me think more clearly and get feedback from genuinely interesting people. One of those products that is so much more than just a "product" — it's a community, a group of mentors, and a work-changing tool all rolled into one. I've been recommending Foster to everyone I know who wants to get serious about writing. Congrats @stewartfortier and @dannyhuntco!

How would you increase your site's organic CTR?
Hi PH fam, our search impressions are through the roof but, in comparison, our CTR is super weak. What would you recommend doing to get that upward tick on click-throughs?

Revamped the visual design of my newsletter, set up a paid section (and got my first paid subscriber!), plotted a bunch of potential topics and books for review. Good progress so far!
Working on a side project? How much progress did you make this week?

Technique/ Strategy: Define tasks by hours. Knowing where my time is going (and how much of it) is key to evaluating bandwidth and avoiding burnout.
In my context, I make sure the number of task hours doesn't exceed 35. In a 40-hour week, that gives me wiggle room for meetings and unforeseen requests from the team.
I start by writing down all my tasks and assigning hours to them (always...

At work: Checking in with teammates every day to make sure we're all working within our capacity and feeling good about what we do. We've also scheduled 1:1 check-ins for non-work related conversations with CXOs/ team leads, to make sure we have safe spaces to vent and ask for help.
On a personal front: prioritising work so I don't commit to more than 35 hours a week; making time for personal...

Hey @marie_prokopets ! Thanks for doing this AMA.
As a many-time founder, I wonder what lessons you may have learnt about shaping company culture and handling team collaboration, especially in a remote setup?
I'd also love to know what your experience has been with burnout, given that a "wild ride" of a career often brings with it a lot of baggage and change. Did you struggle with it (or did...

What aspects of running a startup/ a tight-knit team need to be written about more?
In other words, what's that one topic that you would really like to understand more about, but can't find anything that covers it in depth? Think team collaboration, time-off management, workplace cultures... literally anything you're interested in.
I'm trying to understand what people want to read but can't find, rather than add to the same beaten topics while writing for Pause. Thanks in...
