Never miss an n8n workflow failure again

About

Cambridge neuropsychiatrist. Can't code. Shipping production apps on iOS and Android anyway. I build automation infrastructure out of Zürich — AI pipelines, workflow systems, tools that solve problems I'm personally annoyed by. Vantage Point exists because I ran 50+ n8n workflows with no way to check on them without a laptop. Unacceptable. Every line of code was written by AI under my direction. I designed the architecture, UX, business model, infrastructure — then pointed Claude Code at it and said "build." That's not a shortcut, it's a thesis. I like doing the hardest possible things for no reason other than they're hard. Perpetually sleep-deprived, entirely by choice, completely composed about it. This is what I do for fun.

We ran 100+ AI-citation audits before launching. Here's what actually gets cited.

Before writing a line of product marketing, we audited 100+ real business sites: same buyer questions, asked live to ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, then we read every page the engines cited. What the cited pages have in common:

  • 77% are list/comparison formats ("best X", "X vs Y") the format wins before the brand does

  • only ~31% carry original data (tests, benchmarks, surveys) which is wild, because engines love citing numbers. Most sites simply don't publish any numbers or original data.

  • named authors and real depth (~3,000+ words on cited pages) show up constantly and on Perplexity, Reddit is the most-cited source on ~87% of questions

The uncomfortable summary: most companies aren't invisible to AI because they're bad they're invisible because their content isn't in the formats AI quotes. That's the gap we built HarperFlow for: a blog-on-autopilot engine, built to be cited every article fact-grounded with 8 12 cited sources and ~13 20 minutes of live research by the pipeline, published straight into your CMS.

We're using our own product on our own blog to enhance our AI search visibility | HarperFlow

Last spring, I asked ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini the same buyer questions ("best X for Y") via live API and logged who they recommend. Two numbers rewired how I think about AI search visibility:

  • On ~98% of commercial questions, the engines name specific brands.

  • All three engines agreed on a common pick on just 56% of questions.

Bonus: Perplexity's most-cited source is Reddit on ~87% of questions.
