I've used online whiteboarding tools like Figjam and Miro.
They have been in live mind-mapping sessions with teammates and sometimes clients in all scenarios.
Before the sessions, usually a day or two before, I've sometimes used AI to create an initial layout, and then I'll refine the board to prep it for the workshop.
I've never used AI during a live session, as it can sometimes be...

I worked in advertising agencies for 20+ years, ask me anything you'd like to know.
I have been in the industry, creating digital experiences for clients/ brands, from websites to AR/VR and everything in between in both the consumer and healthcare spaces, and I have seen a lot. I want to share my experiences. For confidentiality reasons, I won't be name-dropping brands.

Howdy from a former advertising tech director.
Hi everyone, I'm Kevin, a former marketing technology director of 15+ years for advertising agencies. I've been posting here for a few weeks, but I wanted to introduce myself formally and thank all for the conversations I've had thus far. I'm looking forward to learning, making new friends, and sharing my experience when possible.

I often walk with my wife and 2-year-old daughter. We talk about life and things to be thankful for.
My other activity is video games. The worlds crafted in that medium draw me in and excite the imagination I've always had as a child.

I want an AI assistant to screen my spam calls and give me a summary at the end of the day as to who called.

AI-generated presentations can be useful if they can be trained on a company's brand or guidelines.
This will help speed up the presentation's production, allowing collaborators to focus on the content that needs to be included.
The biggest time suck for presentations is finding and organizing the content. So, the less time spent on the "layout" and writing, the better.

Chatbots are like the precursors to AI assistants. Assistants are way more versatile and better at understanding the user and the context.

I try to go hands-on with actual AI products and not get too caught up in the "hype" news.
I then share my hands-on experience with the apps in a newsletter in an effort to spread the knowledge.

I've worked on the agency side and have managed teams across time zones (South Africa).
While I employed many of the tools mentioned, I took it upon myself to be that point person to remind others and encourage communication.
It would be great to have an AI assistant who could act as a team liaison, reminding and informing others of changes or progress with other dependant team's work.

I've learned to try and craft a website experience that allows for great wayfinding.
User journeys are a good template, but users don't always follow the paths you think they would on a website.
So, no matter where they land on the website, they can easily access other sections.

One additional thing is when designing button states or anything that changes, try not to limit state changes to just colors.
There are many color-blind users out there. When thinking of state changes, make distinct changes to shapes or the size of things to represent that change.

Although not mandatory, you should include an accessibility statement on your website or product.
It helps to reinforce your commitment to accessibility and keeps you accountable for holding to that commitment!
