Quit Big Corp PM to Bootstrap SaaS

About

A decade ago, I started side projects while working as a senior dev, leading to Notifier for Reddit's successful Product Hunt launch in 2018. I switched to product management to improve my skills, but my side projects were the real teachers. Big Corp bureaucracy wasn't for me - I prefer direct customer interaction to understand pain points and get feedback. AI's 2023 explosion was my cue. I connected with Ross Fledderjohn to discuss creating a company bootstrapping multiple SaaS products through customer-driven development. I sold everything, quit my job, moved to Cali, and we started Stammer. Now we're 12 strong, growing fast, with three products. Stammer's our current focus.
