Do you still use cold email for outreach?
Many « experts » claim cold email is dead in 2024.
So, curious to know, how do you acquire new customers ?

Great topic.
I Help B2B companies speed up their Go To Market, applying Product Tactics & allbound GTM.
For early stage startups, I believe 90 days is the right timing.
(except when your product requires a lot of R&D like openAI you mention, or for medical research...)
90 days gives you time to :
- talk to your ideal audience
- identify ONE specific problem
- think of ONE feature...
How much time does it take to create a product that makes money?

Freemium vs. Free trial: Which converts better for B2B SaaS? đ°
Each model has its pros and cons. for buska, we tested both and opted for Free trial, which was better suited for our tool.
I m curious to learn from your experience. What works best ?

Amazon is bringing everyone back to the office 5/5 days a week. What do you think ?
Do you think remote work was only a phase during covid ? Or do you believe it is viable long term for a company ?

What do you think of lifetime deal platforms ?
I see more and more entrepreneurs talk about the fallouts of their experience with lifetime deal platforms like AppSumo.
And while it can boost visibility and generate some cash upfront, it brings life long customer support, low engagement customersâŠ
Whatâs your experience ?

Been using Supademo for a while for buska. It's a great tool for onboarding new users and to showcase new features.
Easy to use, fast demo creation with AI; very smooth editing features and lots of regular updates and improvements.
In-app tours are great for reducing friction and simplifying user onboarding.
Congrats, and a must-have for any SaaS.

How do you stay motivated when things arenât going as planned?
When setbacks hit, it's easy to doubt your path.
I try to focus on small wins and the long-term vision.
And I know that sharing with other entrepreneurs can help.
Whatâs your strategy for pushing through tough times?

The community feedback and discussions.
Visibility for the products we launch is important but it doesnât last.
Getting feedback and insights from the community is the long run game to me

How often do you talk to users ?
Gathering feedback is important, but can be hard. When do you interview users to get their insights ?

The problem has been solved: itâs called emailđ
Kidding aside, the core problem is not « meetings » but why people schedule meetings.
Because it is rooted in the belief that meetings are better than written asynchronous communication,
But it comes from a time when people could not easily communicate from a distance,
How come nobody has solved the long standing problem of 'too many meetings' yet?

A great Animated logo will make your product stand out from the listâŠ.
For people who are scrolling through product launches of the dayâŠ
Thatâs it. It is a nice to have element, and if you prepare your launch early, then yes itâs a nice addition,
But if you donât have the time, skills- or the right tool đ- it is not the most important asset to focus on.
Is an animated logo important for a product launch?

From my own experience and with the startups I advised for their launch, itâs more about viability and âexposure momentumâ than early client acquisition.
1) PH is good to get visible and test your value prop to see it attracts people to your product/site.
2) itâs Great to get feedback on your product to iterate and improve fast.
But unless your product really target PHâs audience, most of...

How did you get your First customer for your product ?
There are many client acquisition techniques (inbound, outbound, paid, referrals etc).
Curious to hear about real-world stories.
For buska, the first customer we got was through post content on LinkedIn

Do you ever mention competitors in your demo calls ?
Founders are often afraid to mention the competition, almost like they pretend it doesnât exist ?
But imo itâs ok to aknowledge other solutionsâ qualities to solve specific use cases your tool cannot.
Builds trust.

âverify your emailâ step upon signup ? Yes or No ?
Most SaaS require to verify email upon signup. You receive an email and need to click to validate your signup.
It adds friction but is better for safety.
Do you use it for your products or not ?
