There should not be black boxes in your mind regarding the solutions you develop. For example, if you copy/paste code from tutorials, ChatGPT, or StackOverflow without reading the description of what it does.
If you encounter some part you don't comprehend, seek understanding first.
Then, you can split the execution into the steps it goes through to narrow it down one step at a time. Debugger...

There are other options out there. Given the choice, some people will choose something else.

Good night sleep (7-8h) and long walks (~1h) during the day have been essential for me in combating burnout.
Regular exercise helps manage the stress hormones that build up due to our fast-paced industry.
Additionally, I cut out coffee for a couple of months the last time I experienced burnout, which significantly reduced my anxiety levels.
No medications.
How do you beat burnout? (no meditation please)

There is no such thing as must have tools or tech for web development. Basically you can build almost any project with any web framework out there.
A while ago you couldn't do interactive web apps without some frontend framework like Angular, React etc.
Now there are tech that live updates web page using websockets to stream html changes from the backend. So today you have an option to build...

How big is your engineering team?
Hey everyone! We all know how crucial the MVP phase is for startups. I'm curious, for those of you who've successfully launched, how big was your engineering team? And for those who are in the planning stage, how many people do you think you'll need to get your idea off the ground?

Adopt a minimalist coding style, create custom software that excels at doing one thing, and design it to be easily rewritable so that you can start over in a week or less if your needs change. I use Erlang https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Er... for the last 6 years and not looking back to previous stacks I used. The Erlang's power comes from the fact that it's so easy to scale and its robust, even MVP will handle thousands of requests per second and to scale beyond that is straight forward. And its really easy and fast to develop once you get over the unfamiliarity of its syntax and...

The timeline for product development can vary, but an average of 2-3 months seems reasonable. When doing so I subscribe to Agile ideas and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
I automate and streamline repetative tasks from the get go, so that it pays dividends as the development continues even beyond MVP.
Over the years I have pretty robust and fast process to get...

There's a distinct difference between simply releasing code and crafting high-quality software. The latter serves as a form of leverage. Robust software architecture combined with sound design principles significantly eases performance optimisation, maintainability, and scalability. This, in turn, generates a compounding positive impact on the business as a whole.
