Do you think I should focus more on the developer angle or integrating with (for example) Shopify?
I've been building https://parrot.dev, and like all good software engineers, I just keep building it without actually focusing on trying to get people to actually use it.
It initially started as something that my brother needed for his clients (SMBs, that needed to send promotions to their customers). It's been churning along all right with him using it, but not really making any money (yay...

Sourcing a product launch video?
I am looking to have some video done for my product launch and I'm currently in Paris (digital nomad). It's not a fulltime job, more of a 1 day shoot kind of thing. Where is the best place to look or post for this kind of work.
It really needs to be done in person because to demonstrate the product requires a 360 turntable and products to photograph.

I've been a big user of LeaveMeAlone since they first launched last year. It has made a huge difference to my inbox and the amount of newsletter spam that I receive.
I wrote a case study on Maker Mag about just how amazing the changes have been and how much potential there is for time saving across both individual and team uses.

This is very cool. It's aimed at London but I really think something like this should be global. Exposing businesses that are trying to make the right choices is one of many things to help give them the boost and offset any additional costs from these decisions.

This is listed as a password manager for everyone, but it's only for iPhone, so that's not everyone.
There are concerns around this. Doing security and encryption tools need to have an independent security audit. Launching something without an audit is a non-starter.
I am sure lots of work has gone into this, but it's one of those areas that is high risk and must be treated as such.

Very impressed with my first impressions of Flotato. Will definitely keep using it over the next few months to evaluate it further.
Pros: Takes things very easily into the task bar.
Lower memory and cpu footprint
Free (with an optional Pro upgrade)
Cons: Links sometimes open in the same window, there often isn't an easy way to navigate back, for example HN

This looks impressive. When I was searching at least one item was not loading over https, which was ruining the nice lock in the top left hand corner.
Had some great results for the few searches that I tried.

I want to love this product, but because I have more contacts in my Google than the allowable 1000 on the free plan my experience is being prompted to upgrade and it not syncing.
It also won't sync between more than one cloud account without upgrading.
10-15 dollars a month seems excessive as well. I think the value falls closer to apps like 1password (which is $3 a month)

I love the concept, but I'm not prepared to hand over my social login without any ability to test the app. Will wait patiently for login to not be mandatory.

I like the concept of curating colours rather than just having a palette generator. I quite enjoyed the blog posts (e.g. https://medium.com/culrsteam/talk-with-culrs-week-02-ea2be36c340a). That showed these colours in place, I think some ability to see them applied to objects automatically would be an excellent future enhancement.
