When I first started using WhatsApp some seven years ago, I noticed that most Americans do not use it. I thought to myself, "Strange," after all, the USA is the birthplace of this now ubiquitous app. Up until relatively recently, those Americans that did use it typically only used it when they or their family/friends were travelling overseas for the free calls/video calls. They did not see it as a useful business tool. Do you?
The #1 question people ask me is How often should I email? My short answer: Consistently, but intentionally. If you re launching a new product, ramp up. If you re in a quieter season, focus on building relationships with value based emails. You don t have to email every day just to say you did. Make your emails worth opening. Give people something to look forward to. Mail with purpose. And do it often. Because you're either IN the noise or forgotten.
hey ph crew I m working on an idea that I think solves a specific pain point. what s one early red flag that told you your idea wasn t solving the problem you thought it would? any quick tests or methods you ve used to validate a hypothesis before going all in? appreciate any experiences or cautionary tales here. would love to avoid building something that only i want!
For me, there are usually four steps: 1. Record it immediately: I typically jot it down in Apple Notes, either using voice or text. 2. Sleep on it: let the idea settle overnight. 3. Reassess in the morning: If it still seems like a great idea, I'll discuss it with trusted friends. 4. Take action or prioritize: Either put it into practice or add it to my to-do list. What about you?
Greetings all, I m a graphic/web designer and I ve created my first web app (not sure if you can call it that yet) would love to get feedback on its potential as a tool that answers the question Is Ai going to replace me, or take my job? Am I SAiF - https://amisaif.com I got this silly idea at 3am one morning, couldn t get back to sleep so I got up and coded this simple one page tool that was based on a magic 8 ball type of setup for the initial proof of concept. I ve taken extra measures to simulate a more complex setup so as not to give away what s going on under the hood. I have ideas on building it into an actual tool that s useful beyond a good laugh. Just don t want to waste a bunch of time on something that doesn t have any appeal.
