#1 The Unclear Purpose When People Using AI like ChatGPT

Introduction： Since the rise of the AI era last year, my team and I began developing Minduck, a Web-based AI application designed for users who are not adept at interacting with technological products. Our concept evolved from a simple idea to a complex project addressing hundreds of issues. Now, we're excited to introduce Minduck to everyone on Product Hunt! To give back to the Product Hunt community, we plan to share 10 key insights from our product research and development over the past ten months during our Pre-Launch period. These insights are crucial to our understanding of AI products and are derived from our experiences at Minduck. We hope these content will inspire everyone interested in AI application development. Here's the first article in our series: #1 The Unclear Purpose When People Using AI like ChatGPT When the market had only ChatGPT 3.5 and before the advent of other mainstream AIs like Claude and Gemini, Wordtune, a writing AI assistant with ten million users, claimed superior language understanding and writing capabilities. An interesting data point from Wordtune stood out: What do you use Wordtune for? 60% of users selected "Other". We believe this reveals three critical insights: 1.Users themselves are often unclear about what they use it for. 2.AI is sufficiently capable of adding value to various aspects of users' work and personal lives. 3.The "various aspects" represent new AI application opportunities waiting for us, the AI application innovator, to explore, standardize, and transform into products that are easy for everyone to use. With this in mind, Minduck was born with a clear purpose: 1. We want to enable users to utilize AI effortlessly, without needing to learn how to converse with machines or understand their working logic. 2.Therefore, we developed an Web-based AI application that requires no learning curve and minimizes frustration for first-time AI users, helping them create various types of text and visual content.
