Why Product Hunt removed our app from the Top Popular Apps of the day?

At first, I'd like to say that my goal is to clear up what mistakes we did, as well as to share the information with the other members of the Product Hunt community. We are a team of professionals who are building translation apps for all platforms and devices. Our mission is to enable people to read, write and speak different languages, anywhere in the world. The first, Phone Call Translator https://www.producthunt.com/posts/phone-call-translator app appeared to help people make international phone calls and communicate with foreigners without an interpreter or having knowledge of any foreign language. A little bit later we’ve created Translator for Slack https://www.producthunt.com/posts/lingvanex-translator-for-slack - the App that automatically translates messages posted in Slack channels to help you communicate with your international colleagues. We launched both these apps on Product Hunt. Phone Call Translator became #1 Product of the Day and #1 Product the Week. The bot for Slack app wasn’t so lucky, but still became #2 Product of the Day. On this Monday we have released the Desktop Translator app https://www.producthunt.com/posts/lingvanex-translator-for-desktop. So everyone who faces the necessity to translate multi-page documents and large volumes of text for work or study purposes can do it quickly and efficiently. We have posted it on our social networks and mailing list. We had all the chances 🚀 to become the product of the day. But in a few hours, we were removed from the competition. The Reviewer thought that our Translator for Slack and Desktop Translator is the same product. 👨 Reviewer's answer: "*It looks like your product was just featured last week [https://www.producthunt.com/posts/lingvanex-translator-for-slack](https://www.producthunt.com/posts/lingvanex-translator-for-slack) Products are only eligible to be re-posted after 6 months along with a large update. Since it has only been a week since it was last featured, it is not eligible for the homepage at this time."* 👨‍💻 On my response: "*Both products have completely different functionality and use cases. The Translator for Slack used for translation of messages on the Slack chat and Desktop Translator used for translated documents, images, and a large volume of text. It same as combining Gmail and Google Hangouts just because they are made on the Google platform." 👨 But Reviewer return the same response: "*Yes, I understand that the product is available on different platforms and has different features, but products are not eligible to be posted again until at least 6 months has passed. This includes releasing on new platforms or releasing with new features/functionalities."* Yes, all our apps serve the same need - translation, but a set of problems that we're solving is completely different. Why Lingvanex apps are NOT the same product 1. The products solve different problems for different audiences: making international phone calls for travelers, communication in the team for companies, working with contracts & documents for lawyers and accountants - all this variety of problems can't be solved by a one-size-fits-all solution. 2. The functionality of this apps is different. Well, you can't make a phone calls from your Browser Extension or scan & translate documents in App for Smart Watches. We still have unanswered questions: 1. Why our Phone Call Translator and Translator for Slack apps are considered as different products, but Translator for Slack VS Lingvanex Desktop Translator for Windows, Mac OS - are the same? 2. We're planning to launch new products soon. They are: - Language Translator for iOS https://lingvanex.com/products/iphone-translator/ and Android https://lingvanex.com/products/android-translator/ for those who are in need of offline voice translation and foreign language learning functions. - Translator for Web Browsers https://lingvanex.com/products/extensions/ for those who surf the internet looking for something new with the killer feature to translate text on images. - And Translation skill for Voice Assistants https://lingvanex.com/products/smart-assistants-translator/. Yes, your Alexa or Google Home can teach you a foreign language. Are they the same products or not? Do we have any chance 🤷‍♂️ to introduce them to the PH community? Please share your opinion on this!

This is a very interesting situation. The products are really different. So, PH is about products. Or is it about the technology?
