Hi Makers! Hello Makers, I'm Darshan, a product designer & maker based in Berlin. I've just launched my side-project Product Disrupt 2.0 today so this is a perfect place to gather some feedback and support. Product Disrupt is a curated list of resources to learn product design from the internet. For the past 3 years, I've been constantly curating content and sending a half-monthly newsletter. This is a new version with a fresh design and 16 new resource categories. My audience is designers across all stages of their careers. I've made a conscious decision to keep it extremely tight and limited because we all know how easily we can get lost in a truckload of information out there. This is what has helped me become a better designer and I hope it helps others too. Please feel free to ask any questions and provide feedback or suggestions, Product Disrupt 2.0
Sebastian Tamayo
@weirdowizard Hi Darshan, my feedback would be to consider a section for users to get started on your site. There's a ton of resources, which could be very helpful, however seeing them all and not knowing where to start can be overwhelming. Hope this helps! Sebastian Btw I'd love to hear if you have any feedback on my upcoming project Debtliftapp dot com

Hi everyone! I hope you and yours are safe! As we all feel stressed right now, as we try to navigate chaotic times, we're worried about getting sick, or cash flow, some of use had to do difficult conversations with clients, team members or investors. How might we leverage these difficult times for personal growth? As Mindhood, we help experts to transform their knowledge and practices to step by step guides in the form of daily prompts and bite-size content. We are focusing on WFH related collaborations such as Journal Mastery Journey from Benjamin Hardy, 30 Day Resilience Journey with a Silicon Valley Executive Coach, Adaptation to Remote Work and many more. It would be great to have feedback on our content and 11 Days of the Resilience journey is ready for review. You can download the app www.mindhood.io and then use the code " becool " to access the content. Stay safe and sane! Cheers!

Hi @bugracelik, this is a great idea. Just a note, on your website I had to zoom out to see all of your content. The site and product looks great, good job.
Bess Percy
@bugracelik This is a super awesome app! With that said, the labels of "Artsy" "Nerdy" "Earthy" and "Savvy" don't seem very intuitive to me. I feel like sticking to a more conventional labeling system may be better for users and easier to maintain as well as expand in the future! Would love some feedback on a small product my team and I are working on called RWVoice! You can find it at the very bottom of this list, on Product Hunt, or at RWVoice dot webflow dot io!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know that the energy of each and every maker on this thread is super infectious! Your enthusiasm and the spirit to create something useful for others in face of all odds (and the pandemic) is inspiring! To help you with your goal I am able to offer a few minutes of my time per app/website and provide you with a candid critique of it for free. Drop me a note here or DM me on Twitter if you wish to take me up on it!

Happy Monday morning everyone! I'm hoping to launch my iOS app PhoneTag on Product Hunt in the next week or so and would love any and all feedback on the beta. The app can be downloaded here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ph... With PhoneTag you can send disappearing voice messages to friends and family for free in a socially distant game of tag. Its targeted towards people that are looking for a fun low-friction way to send asynchronous messages to friends and family. Text messages are cold and often the tone is misread, voice messages are warm, fun, and meaningful. I'm still looking to add a couple features before launch including an actual game of tag and the ability to add voice effects (auto-tune, slow-mo, etc) to messages. Thanks so much in advance for the feedback, hope everyone is staying safe and healthy! Thanks, Evan
Sebastian Tamayo
@evomoore Hi Evan, very interesting idea. I'm struggling a bit to understand how the tag works. I've used voice messages on whatsapp before, is it kinda similar?

@sebastianxtamayo Hi Sebastian - I’m not familiar with WhatsApp’s voice messages. When you send a tag on PhoneTag a notification gets sent via SMS to the friend you messages. They can listen to your message by downloading the app and signing in. After they listen to the message it disappears. Does that make sense?
Twisted 23 sliding puzzle
@sebastianxtamayo @evomoore, Sorry double post as I'm new here; Anyways that's awesome, I was going to download in on my Mac, but its only available for iOS. #MacCatlayst now enables iPad apps to run on Macs. I set one app to post @11:00 PST, that works on my Mac, but the screen positioning is off. Just check a box in Xcode if you're running Catalina OS. VMs would be a fun enhancement to Botchee 4x4 Sudoku, when in a future version, people may compete against other people. I'd be happy to provide you a Promo Code if you IM, or post here. I think you'll find the sound effects amusing, especially if you attempt to place a number that doesn't comply with Sudoku. Besides that, 3 promo codes are free for each of the next 30 days to anyone that solves either sliding puzzle in the app posted last week.

Hey, I’m an indie developer launching a new iOS app later this month: Incognito Browser. It lets you pop-up a private web browser from inside any app via the share sheet. It’s convenient, super-private, and free to try. Please check it out! TestFlight Beta: https://testflight.apple.com/joi... Website: https://overdesigned.net/incognito/

Hello Makers! I am creating a library for Remote work virual backgrounds. Which are your favs? Also adding different topics in custom-designed backgrounds. Which topics you would like to cover and any theme you would like to have as a background. Looking forward to your suggestions.
Weiyun Hsu
@divjpatel I would appreciate a loft style background. Makes me think I'm working for a fancy startup lol

Hello everyone I have recently launched my app (android and web) to discover exciting free time activities. Due to the current situation, I have set a special focus on activities you can do while staying at home. Product Hunt: https://www.producthunt.com/post... Landing page: https://bestactiviti.es I'd love to get constructive feedback from you for the landing page and the app itself. Thanks and stay safe!
Thomas Kaul
@robin_nessensohn Thanks a lot for your feedback. I have compressed the images, but there is no significant difference. I also switched to load the images lazy. On the desktop, the impact is noticeable, but not on mobile. I have to further investigate. Regarding categories, have you noticed that you can set your mood? This should translate to categories.

@dotsilver I really like the idea! Would reduce the file size of images (in the activities section), bc they don't load very quickly. Also, maybe introduce some categories, as right now there is just a big list of activities thrown at you.
Sebastian Tamayo
Hi @dotsilver, super cool idea. After seeing this I immediately think of the google button I'm feeling lucky. It would be cool if you had like a roulette or one of those wheels with activities on them and it spins and picks an idea for you to do. Also it would be cool if social was added to the product, maybe show which of my friends are doing which activity. Awesome project. Hope this helps! Sebastian Btw I'd love to hear if you have any feedback on my upcoming project Debtlift.
Thomas Kaul
@sebastianxtamayo The roulette button is an interesting idea. Why do you prefer it over having the full list of ideas?
Luke O'Brien
@dotsilver great idea, particularly right now as many of us are a month into lockdown and need some inspiration! I like the UX too. Note that you have a typo on your landing page 'For evey mood the right idea' -- should be 'every'. Also, I think it reads better with the sentence flipped -- 'The right idea for every mood'. Best of luck with it!

Hi Guys, We've launched a new art project that uses crypto and AI in a funny way. We are issuing 10K crypto fortune cookies that can be traded just as any crypto asset. But a cookie can also be opened and destroyed, but you will get a piece of poetry instead written at the moment of opening. With the time fewer and fewer unopened cookies will remain. We are on PH today https://www.producthunt.com/post... would appreciate your questions and feedback. Cookies are free

Hello peeps, thanks @aaronoleary for the thread! With the current situation, I find it harder than ever to close deals and have meaningful meetings with people. Most of it comes from the non-verbal cues that aren't transmitted over the phone, or barely on Zoom or Hangout. Also, a lot is usually achieved during the smalltalk at the beginning and at the end, but we don't have that anymore. People end the calls as soon as the meeting is over because they didn't have to commute to come see you. On top of that, a lot of people are not familiar with this whole remote working situation and don't know what to do or improve to get the most out of the meetings. For this reason, we have released the FeedbackNinja https://thefeedback.ninja, a small tool that you add to your calendar invites and that automatically send surveys about the meeting that just happened, asking what has been achieved and what can be improved. You can also ask for personal feedback on your performance, that will be anonymously gathered and summarised for you. All of that is for free (for now), we don't sell your data or anything, we just want more productive meetings! I'd be glad to have your opinion and what we should improve or add. Thanks a lot!

Hi Product Hunt family, I recently launched a new macOS app called PastePal https://www.producthunt.com/post... to easily manage clipboard, notes and shortcut items. It is conveniently accessible via left and side bar. What do you think about the UI and feature set?

πŸ‘‹ Hey everyone! I built ToGo (https://togo.netlify.com/) over the past few weeks to spread awareness of businesses who could really use the help in my hometown of Seattle. I may not be in the restaurant owner, chef, waiter/waitress, etc, but I have family members who are who lost their jobs as business slowed to a crawl. Support your favorite restaurants by adding them to the list and sharing it with your friends, family, your dog, or anyone who would like an amazing meal. With even just one order, you can help keep these local businesses open. The information currently present in the app is crowd-sourced from different web pages, forums, and chatrooms. This is a very time consuming process as information is often missing for many restaurants. I would love for anyone interested to help contribute to this effort as I am not backed by any company, organization, etc. I have started working on adding in other cities overtime and could really use some feedback and information regarding restaurants that are still open. Businesses have been hit hard and could really use the support! Anyway, thanks for reading this and stay safe everyone. :)

https://dorik.io - Website builder for building & hosting single-page websites for anything. We have designed our beta homepage to get early beta testers. We started it as a side project because we were passionate about building something like this for years. I hope our homepage will explain what it is and how it works (If not, Please share your feedback on how we can improve it). :-) The homepage is built with our builder without writing any code. Any feedback will be really helpful. :-) Thanks.

hey fellow product makers! πŸ‘‹ We recently launched "Figma tracking", a new way to setup tracking right where you make your design decisions. The plugin is aimed at any teams building products and that believe in being data centric! Want to receive a white glove onboarding? 🎩 drop me a line at enzo@getjune.io the launch: https://www.producthunt.com/post...

Hey everyone, We built FlowCraft for Independent Music Marketers because we didn't feel like the music culture in UK Rap/Grime is being represented properly on the business side. This week, we want to improve this landing page for sign-ups. Any advise? https://flowcraft.co.uk/
Eric I Balmer
@jayyoms think it would make more sense if it said "get smarter about music management" than "get smarter on music management" My 2 cents, or pence since you're in the UK :)
Sebastian Tamayo
@jayyoms @expressinstantboom In the US, it would make more sense if it said something like, "The best music business newsletter."
James Abayomi Ojo
@expressinstantboom @sebastianxtamayo lol thanks, definitely interesting to see the cultural nuances.

Hey guys! Guessing we're all trying to put all this extra free time into more productive stuff huh? I recently finished up the MVP of my product: https://wangll.co It's a simple goal tracking tool that helps keep remote teams aligned on their vision. Would really appreciate getting some beta users to give it a go! And maybe some feedback on the landing page, I put in a lot of work πŸ˜… Thanks!

Hey PH! I've been thinking a lot about how I can give back during this COVID19 time - So I launched: πŸ‘‰ http://SaveAFreelancer.com The site is still in V0 and I'll update it to make it an amazing site very soon! I'm just looking for some partnerships and help to keep it moving! If anyone wants to hunt it then let me know! - Toby ✌
Alexandra Levitsky
@toby007allen interested in partnership! Besides that we have a tool for hiring on social media and maybe that corresponds and matches with what you do, but cannot see it without a website. Please text me and let's talk!

Hi guys, I have a recently launched SaaS product called Tendii, it's a productivity workspace for meeting organizers to use during their remote calls. The landing page: https://www.tendii.io PH page: https://www.producthunt.com/post... Would love feedback on the marketing, even better would be to sign up for a free account if you think it could be useful. Thanks!
Sebastian Tamayo
@krgraver Hi Kelly, I really like the design you have for your website, the main feedback I would have is that it takes some time for me to know what the product does. It would be nice as the first thing to see your value proposition: like With Tendii you can use white boards remotely, schedule action items, and be more collaborative than with Zoom. Hope this helps! Sebastian Btw I'd love to hear if you have any feedback on my upcoming project Debtliftapp dot com

Hello Everyone! This week we will launch Feature For Good (https://www.producthunt.com/upco...), a repository of tech initiatives that are really making the world a better place! It's still a MVP and we'd like to ear your feedback. Also if you have any feature in mind feel free to share it with us. We don't want to promote all those "free features" that look like bad marketing push during COVID-19 but real features that have a true positive impact. Thanks!
Sebastian Tamayo
@jl_vnct Hi Jacky, this is a very interesting idea. I like where you're going with it. This reminds me of the recent new series on YouTube called, Some Good News. (its excellent) Basically a guy reports on good news and shares it. It would be cool if this would share good resources. How you promote those resources I think is where the challenge may lie, it may be cool to ask the user what their interests in tech is and then sort the items by interest and upvotes. I would probably wireframe this and ask some users first before coding it all though. Great work so far though. Excited to check it out. Hope this helps! Sebastian Btw I'd love to hear if you have any feedback on my upcoming project Debtliftapp dot com
Jacky Lucien VINCENT
@sebastianxtamayo thanks a lot for your feedback, we will adds more features very soon and if you agree I can share with you the wireframes? I answered your survey but didn't get all of it. Fell free to message me
Jacky Lucien VINCENT
@sebastianxtamayo FYI feature for good is live today on product hunt, if you like the product you can add your upvote! πŸš€

Hi everyone, This week I launched my first side project which was built on Bubble 2.0 The site is call Bitcoin or Stocks http://bitcoinorstocks.com/ The site sends you an email with a historical comparison of how stocks which you select compare to cryptocurrencies. Really enjoyed making it and would love any feedback. Unfortunately, it looks like 50% of emails do go to Spam, but I'm trying to work through Sendgrid to resolve this. Thanks
