Hey PH community. This time I’d like to tell you a short story about how we decided to create PocketGuard. As you already know from my previous post yesterday (yeah, I post them everyday to tell you a bit more of info about who we are and what we do 😉), PocketGuard - is a budgeting tool that helps ordinary people manage their finances in 5 minutes at any time of the day or night by simply relying on one single number called IN MY POCKET (I’ll tell you more about it tomorrow 🤫). Obviously, the story of creating PocketGuard starts from the common budgeting issue we faced one night in the local bar… After finishing one of the drinks we had that night, one of our friends suddenly said: “Hey! I spend too much money on bars & alcohol and I don’t even know how much money it takes out of my pocket. Can I drink more or I will be out of money by the end of this month?”. Simple and fair questions that no one could find an answer that night. Then we started to discuss how many people face the same issue everyday. After monitoring alternatives and available solutions we realised that nothing is covering our needs and we need to create our own solution - a budgeting app that would help people see all their money in one place with 0 struggle.
