Hi Product Hunter, Annoyed by finding suitable product names and available domains, I've created https://3sName.com to do the task automatically. You can get a suitable name within 3s! Let me know if you find it's useful!

@bennyychan Hi Benny, I like this, it's easy to use and helps to boost creativity which is much needed by founders who tend to get a mental block at this step. I've seen a couple of other similar providers so it might be useful for you to spend some time thinking about your value proposition and bringing this out better on your page. This article helped me to do this for my product - https://www.julian.com/guide/gro.... The headline and description on your hero are good, it certainly convinced me to try out the search! In terms of formatting, I think you could get your headline to stand up more perhaps by keeping it bold and/or in a different colour. I also think it might be helpful to say "3 seconds" in your headline - it's pretty obvious that 3s means 3 seconds but I think it's always useful to address acronyms at some place on your page to avoid the slight chance of confusion. I like that you've shared something about yourself and kept a FAQ section as it helps to connect with the reader and proactively address any questions. I think statistics can help with this as well, something like "xx users have benefitted from this tool" (similar to having the product hunt badge on your page). Hope this helps, let me know if you have any queries.

@krupali_patel thanks for your opinions! I will think about how to improve with your input

@sinisakomlenic This is a great idea! I didn't immediately understand it when seeing the landing page, so I've suggested some updates below. Hope it helps and let me know if you have any queries. - The headline certainly connects with me on an emotional level (by talking about competitors) but I think it might be a bit too long - you might benefit from keeping a more succinct headline and having a subtitle to share further information (I've written an article on creating a powerful headline if it helps - https://headline-guidance.evrpg....) - I think you could further improve your hero with a demo video so that you can immediately show the reader how it works (which will hopefully highlight your features to them e.g. effortless tracking, cleaner inbox, etc.) - Once you have a few users, it'd be useful to include testimonials and/or statistics as it can encourage readers to read on, sign up, etc. - I noticed your pricing only after clicking on the menu - it's a great model with a free tier and discounts - so I think it's worth keeping some info on the landing page itself (either the full details, a link to pricing or even a FAQs which covers pricing costs as well as any other questions which you think a potential user might have)

Hi Product Hunt πŸ‘‹ I’m Andriy, founder at Portal - a tool that solves international compliance, payroll and benefits for remote and distributed companies. Remote companies are cool, but still quite complex from the operations point of view. You need to constantly face outdated legal infrastructure across multiple countries where you hire and create workarounds to pay or providing even trivial benefits to your hires. All of that also results in frustrating candidate experience for them. With Portal you can compliantly hire a person in almost any country in the world, run payroll across multiple jurisdictions at once and make sure your remote employees have an insurance and a coolest gym pass. Portal does all the manual and boring work for you like gathering inputs for the payroll or finding local benefits partner. It also makes a delightful candidate experience for the people you hire. We are launching our closed beta in the next weeks and already have few companies testing us - so please apply to join our beta at heyportal.io or ping me at andriy@heyportal.io and we will be glad to help! PS - we also just launched our community-curated wiki about remote and distributed work on Product Hunt - Remote Guide to the Galaxy

@heyportal @the_andriy_bond This is great! I have seen friends searching for remote jobs but becomes harder to get hired internationally because of payroll issues. This is certainly useful!
Andrew πŸ’₯
@heyportal @shraddhasrivastava Thank you! Big part of why we do it is to make it super simple for people everywhere to get hired. Also, please feel free to refer your friends to us as we do have a cool referral program for inviting your employer to Portal πŸ‘€

@heyportal @the_andriy_bond So necessary! My husband has run in to this problem in past roles and it was such a major pain point. Great solution to a problem more people are likely to experience in the current shift to more remote work. Best of luck to you!

Hi community! I have launched Green Tangerin few weeks ago and I am illustrating the quotes and ideas which I found interesting. On greentangerin.com I am selling digital versions of these illustrations and I am planning to sell printed version soon. Currently, I am struggling with marketing part. I am using two channels for now, Twitter (greentangerin) and Instagram (green_tangerin) but I am open to be on new channels. What would you suggest for growing my audience? As a technical person, I have so much to learn about marketing and any feedback will be appreciated. Also, any feedback for website, illustrations and social media accounts are more than welcome. I hope you like it! For any personal question you can also message contact@greentangerin.com Have a nice day!

Hello everyone! We've just launched our free tool - Sunscreen Finder (https://www.producthunt.com/post...). It's a tool to help you find a sunscreens that you can actually wear regularly. In case you aren’t into skincare: sun is the main reason our skin ages and it greatly increases the risk of skin cancer, especially as we are lucky to live longer lives. If you struggle with sunscreens because they sting your eyes, or leave a white cast - this tool can help. We hoped that with Sunscreen Finder, more people outside of the usual skincare-interested audience would be able to discover sunscreens that work for them and start enjoying the sun more safely. I am not sure we are reaching the goal just yet - would love to hear your feedback!

Early days for our recently spun up MVP https://prezoo.io/ but would love to know what peoples first reactions are. It's a web-based presentation platform that works alongside your existing video communication tools. Think mmhmm but for those who prefer to remain on the web. Upload a presentation and we return links for dedicated views for co-hosts and attendee's, taking the pain out of presenting remotely as a team. Features include: * Remote control access of the same view for hosts * In-built chat so you can communicate with your co-hosts * Note sections to avoid having to keep open multiple tabs Eventually we want Prezoo to become the dedicated place for delivering and storing "finished work" (since Google Drive is a bottomless pit of documents and endless cycle of asking for permission). Rather forgetting about presentations right after they end, we want to turn them into key information resources and driver of internal discussions across sales, product, exec or talent teams!

@getwavium @sam_shore Legit I could've used you guys a couple of weeks ago when I started to create my newsletter/blog XD I see that you can edit the text styles, add pictures and quotes for the content, but is there anyway you can stylise and alter the design of the actual newsletter format itself? Currently on MailChimp and I get to play with a couple of different design tools to make the content flow more smoothly.

Hello, again! I posted in the thread from last week, but activity has moved here and I never got feedback. So trying again, shorter post this time! I've been working my way down the posts here, and I must say so many ideas have been executed so well. Thank you all for making--and thank you, @aaronoleary for this thread! You may have heard that Apple has plans to give Safari the ability to allow web logins using FaceID. Well, KeyReel not only already does this, but --It allows you to unlock your accounts using your iOS, Android, or Windows phone's face unlock, fingerprint, or PIN --On seven popular browsers. --On any number of supported devices you choose to pair your phone with. --And your password data never is never exposed on your computer's network or any cloud. https://www.producthunt.com/post... You can help us by downloading KeyReel Premium (there's a 90-day free trial), then leaving your feedback so we can gain an understanding of how you use KeyReel and what features you'd like to see. It's easy to import from other password managers, so don't be shy! If you like it, you can even get the Premium version free forever right now: http://keyreel.io Whatever it takes to get your honest opinion! Thank you so much for your help!

Hello Product Hunt Awesome Community First of all I would like to thank the creators of PH because this platform is working really well for us :) Next, we are going to launch our most awaited feature "SMS Chatbots at Botsify" in a while. We were getting so much queries for offline bots that can work similar like online chatbots. So we took a chance and opted to create that features. Previously our FAQ and Video chat feature has loved by so many makers and we get good feedback and beta users. Once the feature publish I'll keep you posted here. Stay Tuned Shahroz botsify.com

Hello PH community, We are Metricsbird, a continuous monitoring and observability tool for developers and devops teams. Here's our upcoming page: https://www.producthunt.com/upco... There are 100s of paid and open source tools that can monitor anything with near absolute perfection. But there is one small, underserved segment. Startups. Open source observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana need a lot of developer effort to set up and make them work perfectly. In large organizations where there is no dearth of resources, putting together a team of engineers and get them set these up is very easy. Paid tools like Datadog and New Relic are highly expensive with their per host or service billing. Again here too, in enterprises, money is not an issue. The company will spend any amount of money to ensure they’ve access to the best products for their team to work with. It’s the startups that don’t have any option. For a startup with a team size of less than 50 engineers, it’s absolutely difficult to put together a separate team to make these open source products work. They’d rather focus all the developer effort in building their core product. And with the per host or service billing by the paid products, their monitoring cost sometimes is higher or in most cases equivalent to their infrastructure cost. Kindly share your feedback, I'd be glad to answer any queries you may have.
Victoria Jackson
@prvenkatesh I agree with the premise that it can be costly to get going in terms of observability, monitoring and so on. I assume your target audience isn't just startups but other companies that are short on cash or time, non-profits for example. Also, I see your sign-up has a minimum number of VMs. What if a company really is just getting going and doesn't hit your minimum. Do they have to hit a certain size before utilising Metricsbird?
Prasanna Venkatesh
Hi @victoria_jackson, the minimum signup criteria is only to avail the special pricing. We are soon opening up the signup for others for free of cost. We want to charge only after the startup has scaled to a particular level, before that it's totally free to use. Now because of this pricing model of charging companies once they reach a certain stage, we are communicating as startups. But yeah as you mentioned companies of any size are welcome to signup and use our product :)
