Depends on the project, but Agile's flexibility often wins for software. Waterfall can work for more predictable stuff.

Agile for sure in most software projects these days. Waterfall is too rigid and doesn't adapt well to changing requirements, which always happens in software dev. Agile let's you iterate and deliver value incrementally. Although for some projects with really fixed, predictable requirements, waterfall can still work fine.
