Alternative to the Discontinued Product Hunt Upcoming Page?

I've gone through the top launch strategy online and creating an Upcoming Page is one of the top recommendations so I added this to our list of action items. I just realized yesterday that this has been discontinued in December 2022 and the alternative Product Hunt offers is going straight to the Coming Soon page. My concern is that it seems it is a requirement for the launch to be submitted before the Coming Soon teaser can come out. With this in mind, I have two questions 1. How helpful is building an email list (as what the upcoming page provides) be to the success of a launch? Or would the Coming Soon be enough? 2. Can we still change the content and design of our launch even after the Coming Soon teaser has been released? Thanks!
