An audacious goal to grow 10x in 4 months!

In August, at NotionApps (https://www.producthunt.com/posts/notionapps) we set an audacious goal to go from 10 paying users to 100 by the end of this year. That means we were aiming for 10x growth in 4 months. Here's where we stand now: • We now have 21 paying customers. • Our first 10 paid subscriptions took us 5 months. • Our subsequent 10 subscriptions took us 1.5 months. • Our conversion rate hasn't improved. • Our Product Hunt launch gave us 350+ signups, but only 3 conversions. To reach our goal, we need to grow 5x in the next 2.5 months - still sounds audacious right? I don't disagree but there is a method to our madness. This is the two-fold approach we are following, 1️⃣ Amp up marketing Write content consistently. Improve content strategy now that we have some more clarity about our target customer. Engage frequently in Notion and other relevant communities. Notion's subreddit and Twitter have given good results in the past. Strengthen relationships with Notion/no-code consultants and content creators. Experiment with incentivizing through affiliate partnerships. Experiment with new channels like SEO and cold outreach on email/Linkedin. 2️⃣ Improve conversion rates Website and content strategies should focus on paying use cases. Identify, build, and roll out features (like Relation Support, and Desktop View) features that make paying use cases more complete. Invest in improving documentation, case studies, video tutorials, and other informative content that will help prospects make the most of the tool. --- Irrespective of how our plans go I will keep things transparent here. Stay tuned for more updates! And if you have any advice that will help us reach our goals, I am all 👂s.

Hi, first congrats on the launch and all you guys accomplished so far. And kudos for the transparency and #buildinPublic sharing on PH, very cool and inspiring. How many FREE Customers do you have at the moment ? And from all the signups you got, how many are still WAU ? Did you get feedback (interviews, surveys, etc) from your Free users about how they use NotionApps and why they do or don't convert ? Your Content strategy focused on your ICP is a smart move. Showcase the outcome people can expect from NotionApps. From the quick look i got, it looks great to build apps easily, but i didn't find (but it was a quick overlook) a example of app i could test to check the result. The tool looks great and user friendly, best of luck to you guys !! 🤞🏻

Launching soon!
@toni_pm That's some constructive feedback. Thank you so much. We have about 1400 signups, out of which nearly 400 published and used their apps. We are actively taking feedback from our free users as you suggested to understand what features are missing for them to build an app that they can put to use. Your suggestion to showcase the outcome of the tool is spot on. In fact, we do have a page dedicated just to this (https://www.notionapps.com/app-t...) where one can see popular app templates and clone them to their account. We are working on making them more visible on the landing page. Thanks once again!
