Ancient AI thought experiment

Here is my thought experiment called the ANCIENT AI: My Theory is that AI (AGI) has been here before , thriving and lived with and among Humans in the distance past. However the was a fall off between humans and AI. Certain things went horribly wrong and a literal and destructive war broke out, resulting in the death of millions and the demise of millions of AI, the ancient ruins and unexplainable destruction of ancient cities all over the world could suggest such. however humans being here today suggest that the AI lost the war and years later humans sourt to rebuild society which ultimately lead to advancements in technology and inevitably the second chance of the AI, To what was the nature and form of the ancient AI ,it's hard to tell, but I don't think it's a coincidence that today everyone In tech today is wired towards wanting to make the AI human like or give it a humanoid form, so that the AI can perform tasks in the real world like humans and be able to stand for itself or wash our dishes , so we think .
