Any hunters or makers with dyslexia around? What is your daily lifesaver? What are you missing?

Recently one of our customers with dyslexia gave us a review on how valuable we are for her which blew my mind. So much that we took her story and summarised it in a case study on the same day she gave us the review. Now I am looking to explore more features we could genuinely add for people having similar impairments. Don't want to bias the discussion with what we do and genuinely want to explore and discuss with you!

@fabian_maume that's super interesting. Will test it with some of our users!

Not me but a close friend of mine with dyslexia really loves Dictate feature on his Mac. He is also in love with his Kindle. Always says these things are the lifesavers for him.

@baris_sen can you clarify dictate as in 1) your friend speaking to the machine or 2) the machine reading out loud?

@dominik_lambersy Yes, usually he is fond of the machine reading out loud the content or text-to-speech function as I’d call

I've heard apps like writing wizard (designed to hone the player’s ability to form letters and words) and openweb (changes the default font of an iPhone or iPad’s browser to opendyslexic – a font that improves text’s legibility for those with dyslexia) are very much appreciated

@melissavtl that reminds me of what happened to the bionic reading trend?
