Anyone Else Had Comments Disappear During a Launch?

We launched our product today after months of preparation, and while we’re super excited, we’ve noticed that some comments from our users aren’t showing up. We’re also getting questions from them about why their comments aren’t visible, which is a bit frustrating since we’ve been engaging with the community in a genuine way.
We’ve reached out to PH support, and they mentioned it could be part of the new review process to filter out spammy comments. I totally understand that effort, but this doesn’t seem to be the case for us.
Has anyone else experienced this? How did you handle it? Would love to hear your thoughts or advice!

We never run adds for product hunt launches. Most of the time we get backed by active users - community, organic traffic and social media.

Maybe @rajiv_ayyangar, do you have any tips on how we can ensure better engagement and visibility?

I think they remove bot comments / upvotes / follows.
@dzaitzow I completely understand that some upvotes might be flagged or filtered if they don’t align with the guidelines, and i fully respect that.
However, in our case, many of the comments that were deleted came from highly active users with over 5years of experience on Product Hunt and in the Web3 industry. These were engaging, and valuable contributions.
It’s a bit disheartening to see those removed, especially since we worked so hard to ensure genuine engagement. Im trying to understand what might have happened to avoid similar issues in the future.

@matic_uzmah1 oh wow! I had no idea I thought it was just a macro level thing. No idea - might be worth reaching out to support to ask.
Could have been flagged as paid comments? or generated through AI or some other automated filter? Seems really odd to me and sorry to hear that!

Yes, the same thing happened to me. Comments disappear, but in our case, even upvotes on our product disappear Maybe no one is actually upvoting.
@hritik_choudhary Our active users are reaching out that the comments aren't seen. Odd, but i would like to figure out why
