anyone here use email flows to keep users engaged?

hi - wondering how popular email flows are as a marketing tool for SaaS companies. I have experience using klaviyo for a couple luxury retail brands I've worked with and flows convert incredibly well for them. I've seen a ton of success with browse abandonment, abandon cart, checkout abandon, points reminders etc. but wondering if that type of communication resonates well with SaaS products. I imagine they would help in nudging users to take certain actions, but would love to hear from those of you who have more experience here
