Never thought that was even a thing. I wonder if you look at the profile of these people commenting, if they are active, have decent points or are just dormant accounts for comments.
@sweizbeatz in fairness I don’t have a product yet. Launching in January.

@slimmy82 i never thought it was a thing either, but I was like there is no other way. I would assume product hunt can regulate this but they aall seem like templates. A few of these accounts are active but without products

Unfortunately yes. Many products that rank daily have fake upvotes and fake comments. This makes it very difficult for genuine products, with limited budget or no intention to be part of the upvotes buying game, to get visibility.

I expect it is probably the same type of situation that happens on LinkedIn 🤦🏻‍♀️ So many “LinkedIn Influencers” with like 1000’s followers but have almost no work experience or credible experience. Engagement is crazy high on their posts but the bulk of them are fake. Our team refer to these profiles and comments as the “engagement cartel” if you do a bit of digging they are all connected to each other.

Product Hunt is a popular platform for showcasing new products Pokerogue and services, and gaining visibility and traction on the platform can be highly beneficial for startups and entrepreneurs.
