Are there common barriers of entry for SME's wanting to use data analytics tools?

I'd be super intrigued to find out what the pain points for SME's with tight budgets and/or limited techy experience face when looking into data analytics tools. I know everyone wants to use data for insights but theres so many complicated roadblocks!
